Okay heres whats happening. My dad has ordered skyrim for pc from game, he will be recieving it on thursday. And ive ordered off steam, the question is.. If pre-load goes shit and i cannot get it to download in time for 12AM, can i use dads cd to install and use my CD key that came with my steam bought edition?

Not having any children certainly didn't detract anything from Morrowind and Oblivion, I can't imagine why they were so necessary to add in Skyrim when all they do is limit the player's freedom.
