I don't understand why the attitude here seems to be "well if you didn't want spoilers you should have stayed away", how about the people who want to discuss Skyrim but don't want it spoiled yet? Most other threads can just spoiler tag things and be civil about it.

It's a thread on the games content, and people are complaining about images of the games content.
I wouldn't consider finishing moves and stuff like that spoilers :v:
Rather stuff that happens in the story.
besides, a few weapon and race images doesn't spoil anything, it doesn't spoil the story, it doesn't spoil the gameplay.
I for one will leave the thread thursday, because of timezones and greedy americant's getting it earlier. However I would appreciate if you guys spoilertagged up until then.

When I create my character I'll be more bothered about choosing a race which I think looks best rather than creating one completely based on it's abilities and skills.
Besides, I always kind of create a jack of all trades character. And the character you choose at the begining is stuck with you throughout the game so I think it's important to create a character which you enjoy looking at every time you see him.

Horseback is third-person only

There's been videos of going third person on horseback. And at least not all the finishers force you into third person but it is kinda odd.
Oh, I meant can't go 1st person while on horseback... oops...
Dragon hunting looks pretty bad ass, just looking around for them...
I imagine being good at archery would be very useful, looks pretty cool too.
Meh, don't care much for the kids ordeal. Never wanted to kill them, and there'll be mods for it like it has been said before. The only thing bothersome about it is that you [I]know[/I] what will happen if you actually do hit them, and that's what feels annoying about it. But there's plenty of things you can't do that break immersion. In Oblivion, you couldn't drink water, you couldn't take off your underwear, you couldn't climb walls, you couldn't set up a camp site, and you couldn't dance or sing if you wanted to. That's what we have our imagination and mods for, after all, the games can't do everything.
I like that there's kids in the game, means there'll be a playable kids mod out there, and I'm just strange enough to really want to play as a cute little girl mage thing!

I wish Arcane Archer was a true option, probably going to be running battle mage first playthrough.
Well I'm stuck between an Imperial Battlemage and a sort of Argonian Ranger. Decisions, decisions...
Probably gonna go with a stealth-focused but otherwise jack-of-all-trades Khajiit. Something like sneak, archery, destruction and blades.

You can turn off finishers or make them first person only

Because no one uses it.
First person horse riding in oblivion was awful. Third person was the only way to do it and I think they knew that.
