My dad is into gaming too. Pretty big fan of Redguard, Morrowind and Oblivion. He didn't have to upgrade his PC much, it was already above the specs.

My dad had trouble figuring out portal in general, but he is ace at Battlefield2, Fallout3, and stalker games, but I dont know if he would like Skyrim.

I dont think portal is a good measurement of gaming aptitude.
My dad is into gaming. He hasn't played recently though, what with the introduction of [i]Hat Fortress 2[/i] (he loved the game to death before that) and his increased workload.
Still, he was nice enough to chip in on this brand new PC.

All these people plan on playing Skyrim with their friends. I'm going to shut the place down, put on my headphones, and I want to literally disappear from the face of the earth until the weekend is over. Gotta be by myself to truly feel the immersion of the game.

There's a mages guild, fighters guild, thieves guild, and Dark Brotherhood, as you'd come to expect.
Though the Fighters guild is now called The Companions, and the Mages Guild is The College of something-or-other.

I can't decide between Nord, Imperial, and Dark Elf. Nord seems like the obvious choice but I want to be a battlemage or spellsword kind of character and I think that would just work better with imperial..but if I went Dark Elf I could be a sneaky battlemage...but I dislike the look of elves...SO MANY CHOICES.
