At first when I saw you guys being too "hyped" for this game and saying this is the longest week ever, I was like "God, these guys are such whiners, just wait until release date." But now it's reaching the final few waiting days and I cannot wait any fucking longer for this game to come out.
I bought Skyrim, but it's not appearing on my steam, in fact, it's stating I never bought it. :suicide:
Did it charge you for it?

how big is skyrim approx? I'm thinking about cancelling my amazon order and just getting it on Steam because it sounds like by their release date delivery guarantee thing it'll arrive on Friday. If so, I'll probably just cancel it and get it on steam but since I have a max dl rate of 166 kb/s i'm not sure if it'd be even worth it to wait that long for it to download.

No worry about losing CD's.

Also, use Google
You get it on a disc and it installs to steam, so if it's done right you can install from the disc and not have to download it this time but if you lose the disc later you can still download it from steam
Steam is far better anyways really. No worry about losing CD's.
I disagree, I much prefer having a physical copy. Besides, anyone who has even moderate organizational skills can manage to NOT lose their disks. Besides, I won't have to wait 6 hours for it to install on launch day.
I bought Skyrim, but it's not appearing on my steam, in fact, it's stating I never bought it. :suicide: Well I restarted steam, it's appearing now, however still saying I never bought it in store (I guess they want to get more money from me.)
Actually, if I go to the store page I can still buy it but Skyrim is in my game library so I guess that's normal
Besides, I won't have to wait 6 hours for it to install on launch day.
That's what preloading is for

I have verizon fios so downloading is going to be pretty fast and easy and painless. CD's make me feel old, the only CD's I have is HL2 when it first came out on 5/6 discs and really old games. Other than XBox games of course.
Hopefully they'll allow us to pre-load on Wednesday at least.
I don't usually get games as discs, normally because Steam is cheaper and more efficient. But when a major game release comes out that I've been looking forward to for years I'll get the physical copy for sure. So far the only games I've gotten like this are Morrowind, Oblivion and soon to be Skyrim so I guess that says something about my love of the Elder Scrolls. :v:
Steam is far better anyways really. No worry about losing CD's.
If you buy a physical copy it also appears on your steam list doesn't it? Like Brink
If you buy a physical copy it also appears on your steam list doesn't it? Like Brink
If the game uses steamworks, which Skyrim does. So yeah.
If you buy a physical copy it also appears on your steam list doesn't it? Like Brink
Yeah, it's nice, though I personally don't have any use for that. Plus, if I activate it on steam and someone gets the CD, they could use the CD key to steal my account.
Cool [editline]7th November 2011[/editline] My internet is just a fat load of shit
Do you guys think Intkeys is legit? Thinking of spending 35 bucks on Skyrim there.
Do you guys think Intkeys is legit? Thinking of spending 35 bucks on Skyrim there.
I heard that its total shit, sadly. Don't take my word as granted though, wait for someone whose used it before.
Are there any videos were they combine the spells to create different spells (like left hand some fire spell | right hand some frost spell) and it creates some fiery frost spell. I really just want to see the animations of it.
That's not combining that's just casting two spells at once.
Depends on what he means by fiery frost spell. For instance, Dragon Age origins had a sweet combo system where by basically doing that, (that is, an inferno and a blizzard), you create an enormous electrical storm thing.

I'm gonna make so many god damn argonians
I'm gonna make so many god damn argonians
Khajiit master race. I just love khajiit, never met one I don't like, just love their speed.
I think you might be able to combine spells, or use them both at the same time. I think i saw on a stream one guy using fire and spark(?).
