The GAME I go to has 1/4 of the store for PC gaming, half is shared by Sony and Microsoft and the other 1/4 is Nintendo stuff. My local Zavvi doesn't have any PC games and Xtra-vision only has a small spinning rack.

Every single Gamestop I've ever went to (it's probably the only videogame retailer available where I live) has the shittiest selection of PC games. It's usually just one side of a tiny litte rack, usually hidden in the back corner. The local Best Buy has a wider selection of PC games than every Gamestop I've ever been to combined.

Also, I'd love to wait for the CE to be announced, but if it doesn't come out on the same day, I'm going with the regular version. I'm looking forward to knowing absolutely jack-shit about the game and figuring mostly everything out myself, like the locations of caverns and such.

Skyrim is a multiplatform game, not a PC game.

If you've got a problem with todays pricing curve, then dont buy games that are that expensive. That's what Im doing (with skyrim being the [U]only[/U] exception)

No shit games cost money to make, but they would still profit 30x the cost of production even if they sold this at 20 bucks, there's absolutely no excuse for the extra 10.

That's exactly what I'm doing. Bethesda now has to sell 5 over-priced games to make up for my lost sale. By accepting this price you pave the way for future price hikes.

To people saying it's only ten dollars: money actually matters when you have to work for it and pay bills.
