Surely we would have heard through critic sources by now if the actual console version of the game was graphically dire in comparison to all the "gameplay videos" we had seen so far. No complaints from any previewers.
Unless Todd Howard was handing out Bethesda Secrets Act forms.
I drew a basic map of what I know of the world of Nirn

use the little menu on the bottom to see what lives on those islands.
I want to see the day where you can see every single one of those locations in a single game, in actual size.
MMORPG? Maybe not.

Well to be fair the only consoles that are out are fairly outdated.
Haven't we known for a while that the psychic guards were back? I saw a few videos yesterday that clearly proved it, and I'm pretty sure they were in this thread.
There was a witness in the video, so the 'proof' isn't really 'proof'
1. The game is fucking hideous on console. And when i mean hideous i mean it.
Yeah I agree. Even on PC it's horrifically ugly.
Got the game on 360 today.
Can confirm two things already :
1. The game is fucking hideous on console. And when i mean hideous i mean it.
2. Psychic guards. Yup they're back.
1)Eh, it can't be TOO ugly on 360, I mean sure it's prob bad compared to PC but honestly graphics in Beth Games aren't that much of a draw for me anyway. The graphics in fallout and Oblivion weren't even close to bad enough to break immersion.
2) If psychic guards are back then fuck
I think Valenwood/Elsweyr are likely for TES6.
Yeah I agree. Even on PC it's horrifically ugly.
even though there hasn't been any PC footage at all

I think all info about skyrim is embargoed.

if it were to become an mmorpg then we are going to need the entire mundus, or the majority of Oblivion.
Yeah I agree. Even on PC it's horrifically ugly.
have you actually seen it on pc? A mass majority of the media is purely console.
@J!NX, it wasn't a witness, I'm pretty sure it was a companion.
Here's some footage I found, sorry if it's posted already - no spoilers, only can see some city gates.

I'm sorry, but this is console footage, and I can't see how it looks 'hideous' by any stretch of the imagination. Sub-PC obviously, but at least as good as anything else I've seen on Xbox.
Haven't we known for a while that the psychic guards were back? I saw a few videos yesterday that clearly proved it, and I'm pretty sure they were in this thread.
I haven't seen any of the videos, but you can't blame people for wanting to believe the issue was fixed, given that Bethesda said it was.

am I late?
I'm pretty sure that [sp]Werewolves[/sp] aren't exactly spoilers anymore if you mention it every 5 posts
So will the Skyrim map be smaller than the Oblivion one?
@J!NX, it wasn't a witness, I'm pretty sure it was a companion.
This isn't youtube. And from what I seen, the guards could've heard it / companion ratted them out. Its still a fairly biased video, and I've seen another against psychic guards where someone silently killed someone and was fine.
There are videos against it, so don't 'confirm' that its fact.
So will the Skyrim map be smaller than the Oblivion one?
Technically it's a little smaller, but it's a LOT more dense, with more stuff within.

Depends how you look on it. In terms of m2 seen from the top, no. In terms of walkable m2 from the top, nearly the same. In terms of explorable dungeons and beautiful landscapes and towns insted of FLOATING TREE LAND its a lot more.
At the end of the day, if you went into someones house in real life and slaughtered them (( especially without doing a silent slit throat kill )) then they would make allot of noise and make anyone close to the house become alerted

Don't forget a lot of the land in oblivion was unreachable or of non interest (the sea for example. Who the fuck wants to explore the sea?)
Giant spiders :(
And I see grabbing things still makes everything else float.
The spiders on skyrim don't look that bad compared to this.

Yeah, people bitch about "Psychic guards", this isn't modern times, this is the time where everything was far more quiet and people actually help other people.
These days you see a guy get shot on the street, screaming and bleeding everywhere, he might get ignored, those days? Everyone knows it and acts, at least if they can. Word gets around very fast too, smaller towns, etc. Someone getting killed in a town, everyone would know since its not as common as today, but in modern times, its an everyday occurring, somewhere.

Smacking a guy over the head with a club doesn't make much of a noise. At least not enough for someone outside to hear.

What the fuck is the floor made of? It looks like a giant stone that someone has been walking on while carrying 200 swords, all scraping over the floor.

Obviously, but if he wont die instantly, I'm pretty sure "FUCKING AHHHH HELP" would be enough to get guards on you.

That's Dark Messiah, right?
God I fucking hated that whole section.
