You'll end up diagnosing all of Tamerial.

What's the cheapest key site that has Skyrim?
Can someone link me to see what classes are in the game? I can't find the link now. :smith:

There are no classes good sir, you create your own 'class' as you play.

Actually, I just remembered Dead Island, that games melee was possibly the best I've seen of any game, ever to exist. Only reason I liked it, aside from a few other things.
Imagine THAT melee combat, along with extremely dynamic AI (Heard it was already like that though). Also, very free flowing word.
I never understood how anyone could "feel" how a weapons effects an enemy. Can anyone post a game where this is done right?
(please, no Dark Messiah)
You say no Dark Messiah, but that is the prime example of where the melee combat makes it feel as though you are actually hitting someone and yourself being hit by someone. Theres also Zeno Clash and as D0C H. said, Dead Island. Mount and Blade also has does it quite well (where you can interrupt attacks and make people stagger). If I remember correctly I think Age of Chivalry had a good combat system, not so much that enemies staggered but that it was heavily skill based.
Pretty much for a game to feel like this there needs to be a lot of visual feedback to show that you have struck someone, e.g. cuts showing up. There also usually is some sort of change in the enemy/player's state where if they get struck, for example they may stagger a bit making them open to more attacks. It is also very helpful when in first person the camera moves slightly with the direction of the strikes, making them seem to have more force behind them.
Thanks MadBomber and J!nx.

Whenever I see Todd Howard, all that I can think of is how similar he looks to Tony Hawk.

Does anyone else see the similarities, or is this wait making me go insane?

Why did you post a picture of Todd Howard when talking about Tony Hawk?
I don't want to watch videos about the game because it will ruin my fun but someone tell me - are there dynamic shadows on the world?
Oblivion and the Gamebryo Fallouts really bothered me by having NO SHADOWS
Did Bethesda fix this
Todd Howard doesn't look like he's from this century. I get this unshakable feeling that he exists in both the past and the future, but not the present.

Here's the Arena map
Someday there will be a game that'll incorporate all of those empires, just like in Arena and Daggerfall.
Just pre-ordered on Steam. Can't wait!

That may not be as far off as you think.
level up system like fallout. fuck
what's wrong with that? I hated having to go to sleep to level in Oblivion. If you really want to, why not just wait to apply perks until the next time you sleep? It only takes a bit of self-control.
I keep checking this thread to see if there is any news on Pre-loading.
I keep getting disappointed.
Oh well, maybe tomorrow then...
Actually, I just remembered Dead Island, that games melee was possibly the best I've seen of any game, ever to exist.
As far as I'm concerned, any game considering having melee should just adopt a form of Dead Island's. That is the only game where it felt like I was swinging what I was swinging, and not different looking sticks with various stats. I felt like I could control the combat and where I could inflict damage, and it was all up to me. I've never seen that in a game before.

Will do!
Welp no preload today I guess... hopefully tomorrow... :(
Why does everyone pick fights with the giants and mammoths?
All he's doing is herding his livestock like any other farmer :(
If the preload isn't available before Thursday morning, I'm just going to preorder it from Gamestop.

hows it look?
The weird thing is that Valve is apparently holding it back. Bethesda claims it should be ready to go.
