Or people paying tens of thousands of dollars for a baseball card. It's all the same useless shit.
There might be some rare collectors that might call for it that belong in museums, but still silly.
The one hat that deserves a very high price of tens of thousands of dollars is Lincolns hat he wore, as he was killed. That is a legendary hat.
If anyone is wondering, the Larrikin was a fetti, and I know I overpaid a little but I couldn't find anyone else and wanted skyrim real bad.
Fucking worth. Besides, you can always get more hats in Skyrim.

The very comparison is wrong, baseball cards actually take real world resources to make each copy, the hat they are trading for, is a key.
at first I laughed and then I got paranoid and thought "shit, what if it looks fucking terrible on console..." and then I just thought that no matter the graphics I don't think I'll care too much because I know I'm going to enjoy the immersion in the story.
PRELOADING WEEEEEEEE!
I found out some information on the marriage options.
Apparently there are _55_ marriage options. Fifty five
One of my friends told me in a Stream he watched, a guy put on the marriage amulet and talked to a random woman and asked her to marry him. She then said "Oh what the heck, life is short" and said yes.
So this concludes its not exactly like Fable, but the marriage options aren't exactly scripted either. But I bet there are also in depth options you can marry.
Really, this means the modders have their work cut out for them. Soon they'll have their own anime "waifus" cooking them meals and having sex with them.
Woo, done preloading!
I found this picture funny. Someone should send it to Todd

That's right, pre-load, pre-load all over my hard drive.

The baseball card probably costed five cents to make at the time. Who gives a fuck, both of them have no real value except to certain people who desire them, like collectors.
Anyway enough of the petty discussions and more Skyrim hype please.
I preordered it on amazon for the map. I wish they could give me the key without me having to wait for it to be delivered...
Honestly, I've heard about it tons of times already, seems too good to be true really. I'm thinking its a fruad.
Looks like you should be in the green.
It's not a fraud, I've bought many games off there, they may be in Russian, but that's changeable.
This just in:
One of the female Argonian marriage options?

I will marry everyone I can, go out with them in the wilderness.
And then slaughter them horribly.

Or is it a joke :v:

You're right, it's not a scam.
Again, I bought BF3 (yes it was in Russian, but there was a language pack to fix that completely) on launch day for 35 bucks and got my key within 10 minutes.
Intkeys IS SAFE.
I hope you can marry reanimated corpses...
i thought you could marry any NPC

55 is a damn high number. Thats like all the NPCs that lived in the Imperial City in Oblivion and like half of the NPCs you could actually talk to in the entirety of New Vegas...
This probably means "Is marryable" is a flag in the mod tools so you can make your own dream girl and marry her in the game if you wanted to.
For instance, you can't marry little old ladies or NPCs that are ALREADY married with children. Some of the options might be single parents though.

bethesda I hope you know what you're doing
I sometimes get the feeling that we as fans are the middle aged close-to-retirement police chief and besthesda is the loose cannon renegade cop who doesn't play by the rules
every morning you pick up the phone and hear about bethesda blowing up another city block to stop one terrorist or adding an intricate marriage system to skyrim

Yeah man, the rest of us plebs have to pay the grueling .99¢ for release day shipping.
So is there sex in this game.
*dark screen*
"Uh yes. Right there"
"Ah indeed my darling, quite satisfying."
"Thank you for this wonderful night."

Pretty sure there is no sex, but you can marry anyone you want, and according to the wiki, they can be companions as well.

It'll still take a week for me anyways.

sex will be added in mods later anyways.
Like, a week into release probably.

Jesus Christ I just saw this, do you even realize how insane this sounds?
A hat for a free game, if one could do it, could infinitely be copied. No less, its from a free game, and randomly spawned. It has no historical value at all, no physical value at all, no nothing.
One of the only original copies of a very famous player's card with real historical value and is a real physical object. You can prove its original, and not just counterfeit, too.
A real historical relic VS a bunch of pixels. Do you understand how insanely massive the difference between the two is? Though, I may be biased, I'm not a hat hunter, but sorry, a TF2 hat being compared to real baseball history is just insane.
http://www.rarebaseballcards.org/
I could also put it this way
having a real physical copy that is an original and real history of something your passionate about VS something that is digital and from a free game with no true cost or use, or meaning/symbol.

It'll probably be modded by Qarl or Alien Slof.

Anyone you say?
I shall marry myself!
