This is a late question. If I have two computers can I install Skyrim on both with the CD or do I have to use a steam account?
VPNs to get a game 15 hours early seems useless to me. But that doesn't stop me from wanting to see the game maxed out from the people that are playing it now.
Yeah I'll be on these forums watching everyone post things about how awesome it is in Aussie...
This is a late question. If I have two computers can I install Skyrim on both with the CD or do I have to use a steam account?
I'm pretty sure Skyrim requires Steam to play, so You can use Steam on both computers just not at the same time.
Give me proof that someone has been banned for using VPN/proxy for activation please.
Give me proof that someone has been banned for using VPN/proxy for activation please.
I want proof from a Valve Employee saying you won't get banned for it.
FUCK. I can't wait for this game. After buying and playing Oblivion on 360, PS3, and PC I'm soo hyped up for this and I barely kept up any info about Skyrim.
VPNs to get a game 15 hours early seems useless to me. But that doesn't stop me from wanting to see the game maxed out from the people that are playing it now.
Yeah, I mean honestly I can wait 15 hours and I cant imagine anybody so hyped for the game they have to try and bypass the release time. Still checking my email for my INTkeys key though. Hopefully they dont fuck up, because I'm poe
You can use Steam on both computers just not at the same time.
So it is required to have steam to play skyrim. My brother is going to be pissed when it is on my account.
Too bad the Steam forums are down...
I want proof from a Valve Employee saying you won't get banned for it.
EA didn't ban people when they used Korean VPNs to unlock BF3 early, so I'm fairly doubtful that Valve'd do it here.
I want proof from a Valve Employee saying you won't get banned for it.
Well I doubt they will start doing it with Skyrim but who knows.
My disk came early but I can't install off it till launch day. Downloading the preload and decypting it on the day probably going to be faster than installing off a disk on launch.
EA didn't ban people when they used Korean VPNs to unlock BF3 early, so I'm fairly doubtful that Valve'd do it here.
Well EA employees tweeted to customers confirming it was ok to use a Korean VPN, Valve however, has not.
Well I doubt they will start doing it with Skyrim but who knows.
Exactly...A sigh of doubt which I'd rather not risk.
Is anyone else starting to get chest aches and pains from getting over excited? Guess bethesda is just trying to kill me
I preordered on Amazon, and nothing has been dispatched so far. Anyone else got this problem with Amazon?
Is anyone else starting to get chest aches and pains from getting over excited?
My dick hurts.
Oh ok...I don't think I'm going to risk my money and Steam account just to get it 14 hours early.
I'm pretty sure no one has ever been banned for it ever
Anyway, lets see some screenshots!
If I get one believable proof that someone has been banned for it I wont do it.
Is anyone else starting to get chest aches and pains from getting over excited?
I'm getting chest aches and pains because I want to go shoot up my local walmart. But I can't because that would be immoral...
So it is required to have steam to play skyrim. My brother is going to be pissed when it is on my account.
You know one of you can just go into offline mode on Steam while the other one is still online? Me and my brother did this all the time for Titan Quest.
Anyway, lets see some screenshots!
The game uses steam to activate it, Even with the disc I'm sure We'd have to wait for the game to unlock.
I have an appointment with my psychiatrist Friday morning. :(
I think my heart is broken. [editline]9th November 2011[/editline] Wow stop posting I can't automerge.
Wouldn't think Valve would ban people using VPNs unless they were seriously losing money from it, but you've bought it so can't see it being a problem.
I'm so pumped, been playing oblivion in excitement

But using it only to activate a game is another thing.
