The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim V5: But there is one they fear - Dragon porn!
I haven't followed a game's development since Halo 3, but I love Oblivion and I'm dying in the wait for Skyrim, amongst other games. But since I have a lack of knowledge, can anybody fill me in on what this face generation thing is? I have only heard mention of it and it sounds like how in R6V you could take a picture of your face and it would graft it to your character.
Anybody? Google is being useless again :(
who the fuck else would it be
Skyrim: The Adoring Fan's Revenge.
I haven't heard anything about it, Arachnidus. You could always check here: http://forums.bethsoft.com/index.php?/forum/118-skyrim-general-discussion/ since they might be a little bit closer to the actual development, but I don't think that's implemented in Skyrim.
I was hoping to buy the collectors edition.
I had assumed (or rather, hoped) that there'd be a somewhat practical advantage to buying it, such as an engraved metal DVD case covered in awesome celtic knots, and maybe a real burlap map or something. Above all, I had hoped it'd cost no more than $80.
Instead, we get something that's basically the same as the pre-order deal, but it has a 60 dollar plastic dragon. Oh, and an artbook containing art that will be scanned and uploaded within 5 minutes of release.
Yeah, you're really gonna go look at a 200 page scan of an artbook, that's real enjoyable
(hint: it's not)

People no longer look like failed abortions/live in Chernobyl.

Actually, Im not going to look at a 200 page anything when Im trying to play my copy of Skyrim
Let people spend as they like, at the end of the day they want to enjoy the game.
Why is The Old Republic a load of shit? It's an MMO that I really enjoyed playing and I'd rather spend $150 on a MMO collectors edition than a singleplayer game.
So you'd rather have a Darth Vader statue than an Alduin statue, what's the fucking difference?
On an unrelated note some people like (highly moddable) singleplayer games more than MMOs. Some people also enjoy Elder Scrolls more than Star Wars.

because it's a bad game and a bastardization of a fantastic series

The folder is somewhere near 26 gb.
Well, at least now that I know I'm not getting a CE edition, I have more money for more games and whatnot.
Still waiting for a picture of an Argonian.

Damn, mine is only 19GB, but my Oblivion is half broken because of the mods (Damn weapon is invisible in First Person) that's how you really mod Oblivion, spend more time modding it then playing then realizing you broke something, then fixing it and breaking it again.
Apparently it was confirmed that beast races have humanoid legs.
I was at the cinema to see Captain America today. It's fun having that rumbly surround sound and seeing stuff on the big screen. When we were watching the adverts something absolutely amazing happened.
The Skyrim trailer came on.
My boner got a boner.

Was it confirmed that players get First Person legs? :O
While it is a cool CE, I was hoping for something along the lines of a 70 dollar version, not a 150 dollar version with a pointless statuette.
I guess the standard is the right choice, no big deal, especially seeing as I need to save money if I'm going to make it through the year with a cent to my name.

Gae journalist must be an awesome job but I would never do it as I hate writing about things, it would be like a fun teacher that made you play video games for home work but then you gotta write a shitty essay on 'em.

That got released? Or like a beta?
Was it confirmed that players get First Person legs? :O
No, not yet.
Has anyone played the Daedra Seducer custom race that comes with Race Balancing Project? Fucking awesome, a shame you can't actually fly though.

Does that really matter? I've never been affected either way by the presence or lack of first person legs. They don't do anything, just animate. And how often are you going to watching your feet to really warrant bothering with such a feature. Unless they are used for attacks and the sort, they don't need to be seen.
if you're paying $100 for a foot high plastic anime schoolgirl you're not being shrewd enough, plastic is not expensive
I don't own any, just saying it ain't all that expensive in comparison

It adds a lot of immersion into the game. Battlefield 3 wouldn't feel as immersive or realistic without the legs.

Immersion? It's a video game. It's not immersive in any way. You want immersion? Invent virtual reality. Seriously, immersion is not a valid argument when it comes to video games. Just as realism is not valid. Your always going to be aware that you're sitting in your computer/gaming room clicking away.

But I don't even spend time looking at my legs. Honestly, I'd rather they spend time on making sure fighting animation looks smooth.
