Is there any type of mode in the game to replace the arena? I want a mode where I can just go fight for fun, and get paid when I win. Or bet and watch others fight. I really liked the arenas in Oblivion and New Vegas.

FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU- go on the JB HIFI website see that Skyrim is out now, call up my local store to confirm this, drive out and pick up my copy of Skyrim super happy, pop the disk into my DVD drive and enter my key to be release date denied by steam. God dammit.

I've considered going to a midnight release, then I found out that they're only for pre-orders, so I'll just wait until black friday to get it. I want a physical copy. If it was any other game I'd get it off of Steam or Intkeys, but it's fucking Skyrim.

I'm a bit fuzzy on this concept, but a few of my friends are saying they're going to get Skyrim (PC) retail so that they can play earlier than what Steam has it locked for, but from my understanding, Skyrim uses Steamworks, so aren't people required to activate it on Steam, and if so, won't the game still be locked for them?
