If you want that map, you best preorder it now.
If you want that map, you best preorder it now.
So, when I preorder it on Amazon now, I will get the map? On amazon it costs 5 bucks more then on steam. [editline]6th August 2011[/editline] DONE, just preordered it :3
The cloth map is a pre order bonus. As to what stores will provide them. I haven't checked. Amazon could, but I do know Gamestop has it. Just checked Amazon. Didn't see any mention of cloth map bonus. So you might want to find a store near you.
Red Orchestra thread and Skyrim thread are brofisting.

Die DAY ONE EDITION beinhaltet automatisch eine hochwertige Landkarte der Spielwelt “Skyrim“, der nördlichsten Region in Tamriel, ALS KOSTENLOSEN BONUS zum Spiel!
Yeah, sorry for the german :v:
Does this new engine support diagonal walking?
Yes. We saw it in the E3 demo...
Does this new version still have those 1 to 2 storey jumps if your acrobatics is high enough?
I wonder what I'll get from Gamestop for preordering. "Enjoy your ingame Oblivion series brand energy drinks and baseball caps, broski!!!"
I got the Septim coin, now I want Skyrims coin!
Aren't Septims the de facto currency of the entire world? I'll be glad to sell you this super rare totally-not-oblivion coin for an amazing price that will go up to triple digits!
I wonder what I'll get from Gamestop for preordering. These obnoxious machinima ads don't pay for themselves, you know.
Does this new version still have those 1 to 2 storey jumps if your acrobatics is high enough?
I don't think acrobatics is leveled anymore in skyrim.

I want this for my PC, but there's not a hope in hell it will run. What do you guys think? Buy it for xbox, or invest in a brand new computer?
Xbox/PS3 would be cheaper, but if you care about mods you don't really have any other options besides a good PC.
The Prices: $149.99 (US), €149.99 (Europe), £129.99 (UK), and A$199.99 (Australia).
$200? yeah nah mate fuck that
Xbox/PS3 would be cheaper, but if you care about mods you don't really have any other options besides a good PC.
I dont care about mods, but I care about the controls. I've always loved Oblivion on PC, but hated it on Xbox. I guess only time will tell?
I've always preferred having a controller in my hands, but this is personal preference and it doesn't seem to be popular opinion around boards. Guess you'll just have to try, trial and error and all that.

I'm aware, it's just never felt the same playing on a smaller screen. It's the whole console experience that I enjoy, being able to play it on my larger TV is quite nice. But i'm done with this, i'm not trying to start a console v. pc war, it's just my preference and I was trying to help someone make a decision. I don't care what platform you play the game on as long as you play it.
Does anyone in Australia know if we get the cloth maps with preorders? If nobody answers I'll chec k stores tommorow and report back.

Its not their business what people prefer. A game is a game. I don't give a crap if "The PC version will look better." There's a really subtle difference from what I see. Don't get me wrong I love both systems but all this PC supremacy is a bit of rubbish. All I just want to do is play on a system without taking flak from others.

The difference is moot for the most part, in my opinion - that's why it's not worth caring about in most cases. I've already bought the game on steam. But I really want that dragon statue and that cloth map. And I live in iceland. So I'd essentially buying skyrim again for 200$. instead of 150 Should I do it ? I could gift my friend a copy
I would buy this on the pc but I'm not sure if it would work, so I have to get it on the ps3.
Can you play keyboard+mouse on xbox? Wishful thinking, I know...
Can you play keyboard+mouse on xbox? Wishful thinking, I know...
I think you have to use an adapter or something like that.

I wonder if you can activate retail copies on steam.
