The cloth map is a pre order bonus. As to what stores will provide them. I haven't checked. Amazon could, but I do know Gamestop has it.

I dont care about mods, but I care about the controls. I've always loved Oblivion on PC, but hated it on Xbox. I guess only time will tell?

I've always preferred having a controller in my hands, but this is personal preference and it doesn't seem to be popular opinion around boards. Guess you'll just have to try, trial and error and all that.

Once you've modded your Oblivion, you'll never go back. Try out one of the ensemble gameplay mods like OOO. The difference is astounding.

Yeah I never really understand why people frown upon people playing games on consoles. It doesn't really matter. Its not their business what people prefer. A game is a game. I don't give a crap if "The PC version will look better." There's a really subtle difference from what I see. Don't get me wrong I love both systems but all this PC supremacy is a bit of rubbish. All I just want to do is play on a system without taking flak from others.

Hook your PC up to a TV. The difference is moot for the most part, in my opinion - that's why it's not worth caring about in most cases.
