K fags; here's how to increase shadow map resolution for sharper, less console looking shadows!
Press the start menu, go to your user account, then go to my documents; under my games find skyrim, open up skyrim.ini
Under display, iShadowMapResolutionPrimary=2048 for the highest setting that bethesda gives, set it to 4096.
then do the same thing in skyrimpref.ini, but set the secondary one to 2048 as well
in skyrimpref.ini there's some cool settings you can check out, like LAND SHADOWS and trees recieve shadows, fuck i'm going to fry my video card with this shit

To fix the bad Field of View that the game has set default, press ~ open up the console and simply type 'fov' to set it to the engine's recommended field of view, it looks 10x better.
Waterfalls also work btw.

For those who are wondering: There is no longer a grab button, but if you want to grab and move items you can by holding down activate (default E or whatever you set it to)
Also, if you've rebound your keys and can't figure out how to drop something, it's whatever you've set your draw/sheathe weapons to.

I think the FOV is fine, it gives a really really good sense of scale inside, but will try that out, thanks for the tip

Try looking for a window options in the config file, I believe someone said it was in the main folder.

Have you tried adding -w *your screen width here* -h *your screen height*to your .exe start line ?

Yeah. Have you fixed it? It's really annoying - apparently I was supposed to get some email from them with a key file in it, but I've received fuck all from them.

seems that even with the tweaks the shadows manage to look a bit blotchy, gonna have to experiment a bit, maybe that's now where to alter the files...

Doesn't run through Steam after decrypting. You have to play it through the game folder unless you stay on the VPN

Yeah i know but you can edit the .exe file in the game folder.

Right click + Create shortcut
Just looked at achievments, max level is [sp]50, but I'll get a mod to probably unlock level 100+ / maybe make leveling harder.[/sp]
