a computer capable of running oblivion costs much less than $600
Eh, my computer cost $600 and i can run crysis on max with smooth fps. Also i can run Metro 2033 on almost max with smooth FPS.
If by sword you mean this: I have infact. My high school history teacher was a member of a historical reenactment group and sometimes he'd bring in medieval and 18th century weapon replicas sometimes to help with his lessons. And btw, I knew about TES4 and played it long before I even heard about the Nexus.
The fact still stands that those bows look retarded and would be impossible to do anything with, and the swords (which are apparently one handed) are fucking huge. The axe and swords might be acceptable on a huge 7 or 8 foot tall buff viking warrior, but on a small neko catgirl it looks silly. The shields, I can approve of. And before someone goes "herp derp its a fantasy game thers magik and stuff" why don't we make White Gold Tower a vanilla game weapon acquired at level one? Funny enough, theres actually a mod that does that. If you made the swords two-handed or make them smaller, it might be alright.

In other words why don't I just give you both?

Who cares about the weapons? Its a game, just play the damn thing. :frown:
Oh goody, the discussion has gone back to "Stop playing how I don't want you to play".
Oh goody, the discussion has gone back to "Stop playing how I don't want you to play".
Stop posting what I don't want you to post.
Goddamn this game for coming out right before Saints Row the Third.
Oh goody, the discussion has gone back to "Stop playing how I don't want you to play".
Well he's free to port them over but to me the effort just looks wasted on weapons that would look very unfitting in oblivion.
God damn it. I bought Oblivion a week and a half before it goes 66% off.
Well he's free to port them over but to me the effort just looks wasted on weapons that would look very unfitting in oblivion.
The Owl and Kokoroon would look nice if it had an Elder Scrolls touch. I'd take it anyway since I dig the bows.
So, as is posted on every page of this thread, I'm going to start playing oblivion again soon, mod checklist? I always have Alternative start mod, but aside from that nothing else. I'm thinking of trying FCOM DarnUI Anything else?
The Owl and Kokoroon would look nice if it had an Elder Scrolls touch. I'd take it anyway since I dig the bows.
As unrealistic as it is, my personal favorite is the Crab Bow tbh. That and the cavalry bow.
Doesn't help I'm partial to Final Fantasy. I need my Ultima Sword :v:
Do I need to start from the beginning with a clean install to use fcom? I really don't want to start over.
well you could easily update your save to use the updated leveled lists by using wrye bash, but I think the best experience is always to start from the beginning your choice though [editline]1st July 2011[/editline]
So, as is posted on every page of this thread, I'm going to start playing oblivion again soon, mod checklist? I'll post some examples of armor and stuff next page.
those all look fucking dumb, though I guess I should have known when you said Final Fantasy
Wow thanks for your thoughts GM you really showed me wrong and made me see the light. (That was sarcasm just so you know)
Wow thanks for your thoughts GM you really showed me wrong and made me see the light. (That was sarcasm just so you know)
I (personally) am not trying to be rude, but Facepunch + TES + JRPG content = Bad times. Those are the types of weapons that'd probably be lauded on the TES Nexus and would instantly gain like 100+ appalling "User Images" of lore-shit-kicking player characters. In regards to FP, being lauded on the TES Nexus is like being praised by Neo-Nazis or the KKK. Its just really bad publicity.
Is there any good source on oblivion ? like a wiki or something, I just started playing it.
Is there any good source on oblivion ? like a wiki or something, I just started playing it.
google UESP, it's great
So I've been playing the PC version and I love it! Couldn't really say whether it's better than the console version, at least not vanilla. Still getting used to the controls and had to change some of them to work better with the wierd keyboard downstairs. Anyway, going to play Shivering Isles for the first time.

My audio sounds like I'm underwater with everything being muffled.
Took one look at the installation process for FCOM and instantly fuck that'd
Took one look at the installation process for FCOM and instantly fuck that'd
I wish mods didnt always make you install mods that install other mods that require you to summon a demon and pray to the sun gods and sacrifice a blonde child on top of your monitor.
I have no issue with FCOM's install, I just think it adds far too much.
Skyrim needs a beard weapon that shoots lightning.
I wish mods didnt always make you install mods that install other mods that require you to summon a demon and pray to the sun gods and sacrifice a blonde child on top of your monitor.
Yeah I've toned back my ambitions a bit, looking at just installing OOO instead now
Took one look at the installation process for FCOM and instantly fuck that'd
you're lazy
you're lazy
Lazy is a vast understatement
