God damn you all take it completely the wrong way. He's just giving us a bit of info from the Dev Team. They're just talking about how it's a pain to develop for the PC, and it always has been. They haven't quit yet.

2 Hours In The Game, Impressions So Far.

-Third Person Is Massively Improved. While it's still best played in first person for maximum control, it's very possible to fight in the third person. I find myself switching between the two more then I did in Fallout or Oblivion. Also, sexy diagonal running animations.
-Beautiful world, the first time I saw the rapids and a buck grazing on the other side, I found myself stopping and showed the scene to my brother. It's definitely easy on the eyes.

-Voice Acting/NPC's: While I've only been to Whiterun so far, the game's inhabitants seem much more alive then Oblivions. I met a vendor who mentioned that her whole life revolved around her daughter. Later when I passed her by, I saw her daughter begging to go eat at the tavern. It was a cool detail, and has me excited to see what else happens in town. I know that NPC's talked amongst themselves in Oblivion, but it almost always seemed unnatural and forced, never really talking about their own lives as much.

-Yeah, the item management system is pretty bad, but I couldn't say it's much worse then unmodded Oblivion's. The favorites tab somewhat alleviates the problem of switching items during a battle, but is still just a band aid to the real problem.
I'll try to think of more later, but for now I have to get back to Skyrim.
I can already tell PETA is going to have an absolute shit fit
So i just finished installing and everything, but everytime i get to the menu, the game shuts down without any error. Anyone else having the same problem?

In your documents in folder "My Games/Sykrim" open SkyrimPrefs.ini and search for "bFull Screen". Set this to one.

From Morrowind on, including fallout, I can't Alt+Tab out and back into the games. Oblivion works but only about 20% of the time, the other 80% it just crashes

okay the menus in the PC version are dog shit. You literally cannot navigate them with the mouse.

Why would it? Disabling integrated graphics isn't hard.
Battery? What battery. If you're using a laptop, and plan on playing Skyrim using a GT540, that's going to drain any battery life way faster than any integrated card

i mean using the card all the time would put more strain on the system than using the integrated card, im talking long term here rather than short
