Ah I see. I'm not sure of an alternate solution other than disabling. I don't know if disabling it in the device manager would work or not, but you could give that a shot instead, then re-enable when you're done, though that probably will require a restart when you re-enable it, so you might as well just use the Bios Method

I didn't buy it for gaming, the course i'm on requires me to have a laptop so i don't have much choice
i'll be buying a rig for sure after i leave uni, and anyway i have a cooling mat so its unlikely to overheat

Yeah the menu really does give me a headache, everytime I realize I'm about to open it I brace myself. UI mods here I come!

Only played it for about an hour and finished the Golden Claw quest, great so far.

Skyrim is the best example of proper art direction, it is beautiful without the need of unecessary effects. Beats any interactive cinematic like you see with most generic shooters like Crysis 2 and Battlefield 3. I'm not tagging on them, I'm just saying bethesda really put all their effort into the game and as a result its basically perfect.
Off to bed for me. Need some rest for my long day of Skyrim (provided my copy arrives tomorrow - Royal Mail I will have your heads if you fail me).
How do you grab on and move stuff in this one? It used to be Z in other Bethesda games, but that doesn't work anymore. I couldn't find it in the options.

damnit, the only options i get in BIOS are swapping graphics from 'switchable' or 'integrated'
maybe i'm doing it wrong, i'd appreciate some help greatly at this point
