Dammit, is there a way to launch it without reactivating the VPN so the preload button goes away? I wanna get the achievements and stuff but the vpn is full.
I find it sad that I fully understood how everything works and how to play Morrowind and Oblivion when I was 12 in minutes but Skyrim makes hardly any sense to me at all as if the true nature of the game is hidden underneath a glittery constellation of UI stars and broken controls

Has anyone else tried running GPU-Z or some other monitoring program on the background? I'd be interested to hear what kind of GPU loads people are getting. For me it's only about 30-50%, which would explain why this game runs like crap sometimes.

I wanna get the achievements and stuff but the vpn is full.[/QUOTE] Once you've activated the game and launched it for the first time, you can turn off your VPN and launch the game using the TESV.exe in your Skyrim folder. Just add TESV.exe to your non-Steam games list and launch with the interface, that's how I did it :)

Core - 700 -> 850mhz Shader - 1400 -> 1700mhz Memory - 1800 -> 2050mhz Oddly enough despite that odd discrepancy, it did run smoother with my card overclocked.
So are there any major differences in graphics between consoles and PC? I'm getting it for the Xbox since my PC will probably not run it.

Ugh Paid for release day delivery, and Amazon still has my Skyrim copy unshipped, status is "Shipping Soon"... It's the 11th in 2 hours. And its said that ALL day. I seriously doubt they'll somehow get it from Kentucky to my house in 12 hours or so (considering when they have it out for delivery it always takes 6-8 hours for the UPS guy to actually get to my house).
