I just bought Skyrim retail, and tried to install it on Steam. When I install it after I register it to my account, it gives me a message that I can't install it yet because it is not yet released. must be timezone shit, but help would be appreciated.

Man these shouts are fucking cool Also one thing I love about Skyrim tech-wise is how insane the loading speeds are I can fast travel from any part of the map to any other and it takes less than 5 seconds, amazing
Every time my FPS goes over 60 the mouse movement goes nuts, moving Left or Right is extremely slow.. anyone else has this problem?

This game exceeded my expectations and I played it before it came out, it seems like all the things I nitpicked at Eurogamer were ironed out and the PC version looks incredible! Only thing is I can't find where to enable to console? And how to change my FOV because it's too narrow and it looks kinda off.
I love how fireballs make an actual boom instead of a poof. I also like how enchantments do things like improve damage with two-handed weapons instead being stuck in that boring, overly standardized system they had in Oblivion. I'm not really big on the UI though.

Do NPCs drown in skyrim? In oblivion, I had a bounty of 5 gold for throwing a stolen piece of venison at a town guard in and right now I'm water walking in the Abecean Sea and 3 guards are under water chasing me. They have been chasing me for about 5 minutes now, and nobody has drowned yet.

The rabbit hopped into a river and was swept away by the current only to hop out onto a rocky outcrop back onto the shoreline. And it was underwater for a good while too and I was about to feel bad for it. :C

Put 'fdefaultfov=x' at the bottom and change x to the fov you want. This game is so much better than I was expecting. It feels like a much more refined version of Oblivion, honestly it seems that everything has been improved. Archery especially is very satisfying.
