Imperial is quite a fun race to play in this game from what I can tell so far. They make great battlemages, which I find actually fun now, considering the new way magic is used in this game.

Not one single Elder Scrolls game have I really got into the bows and magic. This time, that is all I am focusing on is using magic and bows.

No worries I fixed it, turns out Skyrim makes use of the surround feature on my G35 and I hadn't updated it in a while.
