The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim V5: But there is one they fear - Dragon porn!

Well, on my HD5750, 4gigs of Ram, Quad Core 3.2ghz I'm running the following settings:
1680x1050
2x AA
8x AnisotropicFiltering
Texture: High (highest)
Radial Blur: High (Highest)
Shadow Detail: Medium (Ultra is Highest)
Decal Quality: Ultra (Highest)
All View distance sliders are maxed, with Distant Object Detail on High (Ultra is highest) and LOD Fade checked
Runs almost perfect, some slight framerate drops but it does not drop below 30FPS. It's annoying to go from 50 to 60 and drop to 30 though, you would think it's unnoticeable but it isn't
Can you use Steam with physical copy or do you have to use GFW?
It didn"t give me a choice> i installed it and it just went straight to steam and installed from the cd.
Hm item rotation still doesn't work for me.
In Riverwood, [sp]was anyone else attacked by 3 thugs upon leaving the inn? I can't fight them all and they rape me every time :([/sp]
OC to 4.0
OC 260 to 2000mhz core clock
Ultra 60 fps go go
I don't really want to OC it anymore as I'm going to sell this PC to my friend (I don't want this hardware to suffer my OC attempts anymore, as it's 3 years old already) and buy new one in January, but I will buy new RAMs for this one on monday (DDR 3 2x2gb of 1066 mhz).
It runs at HIGH settings for me. I have an AMD Athlon Quad Core (don't remember the exact spec atm). 4gb Ram, Radeon HD5770 with 1Gb. HIGH was the setting it selected, and I didn't bother to change it. Looks good, runs at a consistent 45-60 fps.
I guess it doesn't look so bad

Your board doesn't support DDR3.
Seems like the massive FPS drop in towns is an AMD specific problem, hopefully they'll fix it soon. In the wilderness I generally get 40-60 FPS, but in that first bigger town that the main quest takes you to (forgot it's name), my fps goes down all the way to 25 sometimes.

It selected Ultra High for me but I brought some settings down, get great performance. Almost the same set up as you
Just Tried the Xbox 360 Version, looks like shit, bugs everywhere. So I'm about to install it on my pc. Is it just xbox that these bugs are so prevalent?

PC version is a port of the 360 version.
Does anyone have this glitch where you can't go past spider webs you break at bleak falls temple? Like I freed the guy and then I can't walk though the webs that he did, I tried cutting them with a multitude of weapons and setting them on fire, but the game doesn't let me go though, does anyone else have this/is there a fix?
Anyone know where the vsync option is? I can't find it in the .ini file... Is it named something different? I can tell its on and it's what's causing my framerate dips
There was NO ONE at my game stop. I was the 17th person to get it. The Halo 3 Launch had 5 times the people.
How do you select settings as far as med/low/high?

Sometimes it produces very good looking scenes.
Doesn't matter, the PC version still runs incredibly smooth with zero stuttering, and the game on all platforms has very little bugs.
The same cannot be said for any other Bethesda game.
Water Clipping, Animation Transition Delay, Flickering Lighting, Floating Weapons, map studdering, and more.
Got the Vsync turned off, in the .ini file it's:
iPresentInterval=1
Switch 1 to 0
Soooooooo much smoother
If you don't have that, add it under the [DISPLAY] part of the ini
WHY IS TIME SO SLOW. UGH.
Also, no one should be surprised by bugs. That always happens.
So for some reason, Skyrim is set at a resolution of 1600x900 no matter what I do, and windowed. I have a regular resolution of 1280x1024. I've tried changing the resolution in game, I've even tried making it fullscreen, but it always reverts to that resolution in windowed mode. Does anyone have any ideas?
Can anyone help me with this? The game is unplayable in this state and I have an itch that only Skyrim can satisfy.

it's always turned on? vsync sucks so bad :(
gonna get myself a new pc, I can't run it smoothly on high.
I want 60 fps on ultra.
That is a CPU Bottleneck my friend, what processor do you have and what's your FPS that doesn't change?
Intel i7 2.8 GHz.
It suggested I run the game on Ultra so I think its just Bethesda's crappy optimizations.

I like what Vsync does, but for the noticeable performance hit it gives me, it's not worth it, I can deal with the minor tearing

Happened to me to. I just [sp]hid until they left.[/sp]
Just wondering, does Skyrim use all CPUs or only one?
I honestly think diagonal running animations really makes a huge difference.

Shouting next to a guard is way more entertaining than it should be.
