The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim V5: But there is one they fear - Dragon porn!

Had a moment that made me laugh earlier.
I was walking around outside of a village and was using my shout near some guards until one of the guards started a conversation with me, telling me to "Stop doing that shouting thing" and that "It's making everybody anxious".
I love this game.
Here lays Lydia, my faithful pack mule, murdered by filthy bandits.
Rest in peace, Lydia.

Anybody else getting the thing where people's voices become really quiet and low pitched? Makes them sound demon-like.
How'd you get subtitles???
How'd you get subtitles???
Enable them in the options?
I found a mine with lots of iron ore and a spell called transmute
Transmute lets you change iron ore to silver ore, and silver ore to gold.
fucking brillaint
Currently what countries are Skyrim released in?

lydia can die?!! shit I better start taking care of her
Enable them in the options?
What options? I couldn't find them in game.
fuck can't wait for a fallout game on this (updated) engine
Is it just me or has anyone noticed how, "familiar" every characters voice is?
I'm sure a lot of the actors each do multiple characters, but I'm always finding myself listening to people for a while just to try remember where I have heard them from.
After the battle, I noticed her on the ground and I tried to get her to wake up, but she didn't respond. At this point I realized the grim fate she suffered.
I thought she would like the spot.

Dude, this 'engine' IS the old gamebryo fallout engine. Try doing the finishing move, it looks 100% like a critical strike in fallout.
How is the AI? And I mean not in fights, I mean the social Ai.
Lydia died in the first fight for me :v:
I killed Lydia for her armor when I first saw it
fuck her

you know what I fucking mean, seriously; It's a heavily updated engine, comparable to say, unreal engine 3 vs unreal engine 2(maybe a bit less extreme). Of course at the base of the game it's going to be the same engine, but they've overhauled a lot.
The fact that finishing moves look the same, it's because they use the same script and shaders for them, that's a bit unrelated to the base engine itself
Everything maxed with 16x Anisotropic and 8x CSAA. (Not trying to boast or anything, just saying so you know what you're looking at)

Same old really, AI will still see a dead body somewhere and go "Oh what happened here" days after the killing actually happened, so I've found a habit to actually hide the bodies of people I kill now.
My goodness, the dragon priests are difficult to fight. I was lucky enough for this particular one to get stuck in the mountain.

Does anyone have a free VPN for any country that has the game already? I just want to install my game.
A question about Riverwood:
[sp]I just started playing and went to Riverwood first, talked to Alvor and went out to check the store in the village.
so I talk to the trader and start the Claw quest, went to the sanctum and cleared the area and took the shout.
I go back to hand out the quest.. and Alvor starts attacking me together with the whole village, Why?[/sp]
Whats everyones difficulty at? This game seems really odd with the balancing
Gotta turn it down when fighting Dragons or I die too fast, same with Dragon priests.
But I've gotta turn it up when fighting normal enemies otherwise it's too easy.

I disagree, this engine is not as overhauled as they made it out to be. The animations are as stiff as the rest of the games, the effects are lacking in certain areas and there is ABSOLUTELY no tesselation to be seen. I wonder why.
blame the consoles
Perhaps they use the same scripts for the finishing moves, but does that not prove the fact that this is basically just a simple overhauled gamebryo engine? Also, what the hell does shaders have to do with animations? Actually, what does the graphics card have to do with animations?

That happened to me as well.
I kinda like it.
well just bought it, downloading it now. hopefully my computer can run it on my less than decent graphics card, but i have no doubts. and if it doesn't, well then i am upgrading next year. i refuse to get this game for my PS3
This game gets my vote for Game of the Year. A serious vote
Using a Bow feels so much better, and in general is better. It's slower to knock an arrow, it has decent sound effects that play when you do, and when you shoot, and when an arrow hits someone, and hearing arrows bounce off the wall behind you... You can hear all that shit, and it sounds great, which makes it feel great, And the arrows actually wiggle after sticking into surfaces, AND don't make that horrific sound they made in Oblivion when they do
