I just got mugged by a british dark elf, so I threw the fucker off a waterfall.
just finished the main storyline, feels good. now to work on my smithing skill does anyone know where you can mine ore?
I think you can find it at the end of dungeony places and stuff. I definitely found some iron ore in that emberwald mine.
Man I've only seen one
Other than the one in the start? If so, I think you're lucky. The guy from RPS who reviewed it had played the game for about 30 hours and hadn't seen any dragons except that one. :v:
Decrypting the game, it's at 17% and hasn't moved in 4 minutes.
it takes a while don't worry man

Skyrim isnt released yet for me. still 4 hours left.
Hey everyone. I was wondering how you all might be pacing your character through the story. Personally, I'd find it pretty disappointing to fight dragons and save the world at a mere level 8 or so. So far I'm about 10 hours into playing my Dark Elf and I haven't even touched the main quest. I'd like to experience the world first and become a part of it. I'm spending most of my time hunting, crafting, and working on some of my other non-combat skills. I also just joined the companions so I'll slowly be chipping away at that as I complete other side quests and tasks, and explore Skyrim. I'll probably decide to start the main quest when I'm level 20 or so. That seems to make a bit more sense to me, and by then I'll be better prepared to fight the dragons.
it takes a while don't worry man
Crap, I've got 15 minutes before I have to leave for school, and it's only at 34% now.
I made a imperial warrior with plenty of bodybuilding done to him, but now I play him as a mage more than anything else it dosen't fit.
So, what races did everyone choose? Post pictures of your characters, I'm looking for some inspiration as to what to make my final character look like! Game is awesome.
Is the day one patch out yet? I didn't have to patch this morning on my 360.
I made a imperial warrior with plenty of bodybuilding done to him, but now I play him as a mage more than anything else it dosen't fit.
Yeah, I left the weight slider at the normal thing too, I think. I'd like my guy to be a little less muscled, because I'm going for the skirmisher look. He looks more like a berserker.
Lots of fun, this game is. Here's my character: He's a little scrawny I faced two dragons so far, though I had to flee from the second one due to no backup :(
INSTALL DIRECTX FASTER
Steam often tries to install DirectX with games. I usually just hit Cancel and retry. Tends to open the game, though it doesn't work every time.
Steam is still decrypting at 35%! I've got 4 minutes left before I have to leave. It's gonna be a hard day at school...

Damn Amazon, they had a delay in shipping my copy, so I doubt I'll get it today. Debating whether or not to buy a copy from a store and then return the copy I get from Amazon to the store.
I'm pretty sure dragons don't start appearing in the wild until you do a few quests in the main story line.
Is it just me or is there no point using sawmills as you don't get anything from it?
Alright Sir.
After extensive research, i have concluded that killing giants is a pain in the ass
Is it just me or is there no point using sawmills as you don't get anything from it?
Yeah I didn't notice any gold reward for doing it. Also, Iron ore veins are hard to notice.
I'm pretty sure dragons don't start appearing in the wild until you do a few quests in the main story line.
I got to where you become a thane in Windhelm, and I've encountered 2 dragons so far (other than that first one) funnily enough in the same place, about half an hour apart.
