If this happens with anyone else I would recommend going out and buying it from a store with a return policy, and then when you get your copy from the delayed shipping or what have you just return the delayed unopened copy of the game to the store.

If yours is back-ordered I'd just cancel the order.

I'm currently waiting on the delivery for mine, it can get here anywhere from 10AM to 6PM and preorders have gotten here as late as 8PM.

Right, can anyone help clear something up for me, I understand they scrapped the normal attributes you could gain when leveling up like willpower or speed and now you can only increase either Magicka, Health or Stamina by ten. So how is it you go about increasing Willpower or Speed?
Plus, I hate how the snow falls through foundations with roofs. Other than that, non stop orgasms since I put the disk in.

Skyrim runs on 10 FPS on all laptops with an i7 and a GTX 4xxM and GTX 5xxM with the lowest possible settings.

My buddy has an issue and is hoping someone from here might know the fix. He can't kill any NPCs. Whenever he hits them enough they just kneel down, rest a bit and then beat his ass apparently. Anyone know if there's any way to fix it or is it on purpose?

On pc you just hold in the key you use to open things.

I am a little sad that remapping keys does not change the controls shown.

That should only happen when you try to kill a key character in the game.

Try this if Skyrim crashes right after the Bathesda Logo on start-up.

"Hey guys, I was having this problem too and just stumbled on a solution that worked for me at least.

My sound device in windows was set to output at 192khz 24bit. When I set this back to 44.1khz 16bit it fixed the problem!

So to check, in win7 go to Control Panel -> Hardware and Sound -> Sound

Pick your sound device that is set as default, click Properties.
Go to the Advanced tab and make sure the 'Default Format' it is set to 44.1khz 16bit.

I actually was able to set mine to 96khz 24bit and it works aswell, just doesn't seem to like 192khz.

Basically another way is just that Sound in Control Panel and do those steps too. It worked for me. Sounds will be choppy-ish but doesn't beat playing it you're dying to try. 96khz 24bit works too I hear.
