Might be similar to the other games, go into sneak mode when they're sleeping or something and a special interaction option might be available instead of just pick pocket.

holy shit, I just ran across a pack of wolves in the forest, they started to attack me, so I killed one of them, the second ran away, and now I think the third thinks I'm the new alpha male or some shit cause now he's following me without attacking! He did freak out a hunter across the stream though, but they didn't kill him. I'm gonna go into a town and see if they don't kill him.
