I believe there is no max level, so don't worry about coming to a point where no progress can be made.

A question of my own, I know chopping wood with an axe gets you firewood. But is there any point at all to putting those huge logs on the belt and running them through the saw?

Personally, I love them. But I think there's already a mod on the Skyrim nexus to disable them.

Also one that replaces spiders with bears for people with arachnophobia.

Been playing it for like an hour or so and I cannot help but be incredibly amazed.

Haven't gotten so much into the story yet, but I can already tell it's going to be amazing.

Exploring in this game actually feels satisfying, unlike Oblivion where everything felt so dull and dead. But this enviroment is incredible.

Set a spell to the right hand and one to the left. :V
Since you probably meant how to combine two of the same into a single spell, that's a perk you'll get when you progress your skill enough.

Since I did a lot of Smithing I just geared her up as best as I could and I got her trough to the end of the game, not sure if there were better companion choices since I just mostly only went trough the main quest.

[sp] Not like it matters as the Final Area in the Main quest is off limits to companions. [/sp]
