Hey guys, was just running through a dungeon I had finished previously and found that[sp]morekei[/sp](one of the masks) is found in [sp]Labyrinthian[/sp]

So, i just woke up, last night i played a total of 20 hours. I've never done that with any other game that i remember. Skyrim is insane, i've never felt more immersified. When i get home tonight i'm just going to abandon the main story (i just did the council meeting bit with the greybeards) and imma raid any tomb i can find. :v:

Does this game have a dark atmosphere? Do you meet travelers other than yourself?
Can you have permanent companions?

I'm just really really curious, because I'm tired of games where you're always alone and it's always dark, it's just really really depressing. :V

Anybody else getting any performance issues? I get 30's and 40's on high, but then I'd drop below 20 for no reason at all. I know its to be expected since its a Bethesda game and its only just after coming out, but I can't stand these sudden frame rate drops.

I got the newest ATi drivers, turned off VSync both in SkyrimPrefs.ini and in CCC and I still get these drops. Just to see if I could get a better frame rate with a lower resolution, I lowered it to 720p and it doesn't run any better than it did at 1080p.

These issues aside, I can't stop playing this.

Not really, but in some places, I drop down below twenty as well. It happens at random, not really location-based, not really anything-based, just kinda happens. This is one of the few new games I can record in without any issues while maintaining great visual quality on high settings. I love it, too, because games like this are perfect for finding really good footage

Smoke does lag me real bad though, from 60 fps all the way to 10. Thankfully, it doesn't come around often.

We're getting DLC so we better be getting performance patches too, even if it's amazing as it is right now.

I just fought and killed a dragon. In the middle of the fight a hunter came up to me asking if I had seen a person. I said no and me and him kept fighting the dragon. When the dragon was at half health hunter ran out from cover and starting firing arrows at the dragon repeatedly. The dragon started to freeze him so I shouted at him to get back to me but he fell to the floor weakened. He got up and kept fighting eventually leading to his death. Not to mention my horse was surrounded by frostbite spiders on the way there and was seperated from me before eventually being killed. R.I.P Horse and Hunter
