I love how the guards actually have personalities now, and every character no longer serves as a faceless puppet repeating two lines. This is a huge improvement over last year's "Patrolling the Mojave almost makes you wish for a nuclear winter"
Turn of X360 controller in the options menu before you go complaining.
I thought I turned it off by unchecking it. Or does it work the other way?
Also someone asked if you leave your horse somewhere, does it return to a stable by itself. I'd like to know that too.
this is how i play skyrim
Boxed and digital copies are usually the same price.
Boxed copies could actually cost more depending on if you get the Limited Edition.
Its cheaper here for some reason.....
seriously same for BF3 its usually cheaper by RM 10(my currency)
Anyone now how to activate the Pillar of Sacrifice at Boethiah's Shrine?
LOD fail...
Anyone know how to increase the distance (aside from ingame UI settings)? Also, i thought todd howard said one of PC's main advantages was the draw distance...
Out-of-game settings. Use the advanced video settings in the launcher, that should do the trick.

I snuck up on this guy and two others after finding a lone horse along a path in a tundra. I got past a watchdog, and it casually pranced back off somewhere, so I followed it and there were the three guys, in plain sight. I shot one right in the head, square between the eyes, and he hit the snow like a sack of bricks. I literally recoiled in joy from the excitement of landing my first shot with a bow and arrow, especially after seeing him fall dead from one so precise. His buddies ran off and begged for mercy because they had no idea where the shot came from, because I was hiding in rocks. I went down to find that this was just a settler or something. Their watchdog was actually just a snow fox and had no affiliation to them. Whoops.
Does anyone have any method to luring dragons to the ground? Bastards just circle overhead for a while before eventually fucking off.
NOW THIS IS PROBABLY A WIN FOR CHARLIE SHEEN BANGING 7 GRAM ROCKS AND STILL STANDING TO PLAY SKYRIM Charlie Says Duh WINNING My copy has still not arrived I will probably go bed BEEN waiting too long -_-

Is there anyway to fix it?

Find a wide open area, hope for the best.
Oh my god this is exactly what I was thinking. I was trying to discern what they sounded like when it suddenly occured to me that they do in fact sound a hell of a lot like Garrus.
God damnit why haven't I found any Argonians yet? I feel so alone.
Barely any Khajiits either, or Wood Elves, but I guess it kind of makes sense they aren't in a place as cold as Skyrim.

Near the end of the main quest you receive the [sp]dragonrend shout which forces them to land[/sp]
Anybody else getting any performance issues? I get 30's and 40's on high, but then I'd drop below 20 for no reason at all. I know its to be expected since its a Bethesda game and its only just after coming out, but I can't stand these sudden frame rate drops.
I got the newest ATi drivers, turned off VSync both in SkyrimPrefs.ini and in CCC and I still get these drops. Just to see if I could get a better frame rate with a lower resolution, I lowered it to 720p and it doesn't run any better than it did at 1080p.
These issues aside, I can't stop playing this.
http://skyrimnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=48 Try this, I'm going to try it right now but apparently its the new vegas fps fixer for ATI that apparently works fine for skyrim, will post later if it works for me.
I hate seeing someone off in the distance and getting a sneaking headshot kill, Then I walk up and notice it was a farmer or a random friendly NPC....At least they can't tell on me.
so how do you kill [sp]morokei[/sp]...?
i can't beat him on novice.
Could someone give me the console commands that fixes mouse smoothening? It's really clunky right now.
How do I enter
[sp] College of Winterhold on the Elder Scroll quest?[/sp]
I hate how you cant see if someone in the wilderniss is friend or foe. Either you sneak up on them
and take the risk of killing someone innocent or you confront them right away. Makes stealth useless.

there should be a way of turning acceleration off in the config files
Do i have to become a [sp]warewolf[/sp] to continue with the companion quests?
Played that mission where you [sp]have to go to a party and then collect info about dragons[/sp] and damn I fucked myself big time there.
I gave the elf my useless shit because I didn't know I will be stuck with it later. And when I realized the elf was gone. Since my character is not sneaky type at all I had to cheat because otherwise I'd get detected and instantly killed without my armor or weapons. Though I turned off god the very second I got some elven armor and a sword. After that my fighter cut through like butter.
So level scaling loot/merchant lists... we meet again.
So far i think the level "scaling" has been next to non existant, loot on bandits and the like suck ass compared to my look; though it may be different for dungeons.
havn't noticed anything with merchants though, riverwood merchant sells shit all
please elaborate?
They also said the PC version would have DirectX 11 and higher resolution textures.
Bethesda can be full of shit sometimes :v:
the pc version does have direct x 11 and higher res textures (slightly), it just doesn't take advantage of tessellation; it uses direct x 11 purely for performance
I like how being dragonborn is like an all access VIP ticket.
"Why should I let you enter?"
"I'm dragonborn bitch"
"Ok"
Dark Rituals :>

bandits are poor as shit
this unfortunate fellow is running shirtless in northernmost part of the map (shore at Winterhold)
Oh and I enter the champion's house, two people are fist fighting. I join, they pull out weapons and still fight each other, so I kill them both and the spectators just go meh and back to their shit. Then I joined the guild and no one still gave a shit I killed two of their own(I think they are).
What the fuck, I came out of Windhelm and 3 guys were waiting for me. One of them said "you should never have comed here!" and they all started attacking me. The guards helped me and when I looted one of the guys and [sp]one of them had a contract.[/sp][sp] "The Silver-Blood guard" had hired them to kill me. Who's the Silver-Blood guard?[/sp] :tinfoil:
