So I punched a chicken and obviously everyone wants to kill me.
How the fuck do I yield
Death is the capital punishment for killing chickens, you deserve it scum
Also if there's guards, just sheathe your weapons, if there's no guards, I've no idea
What's the difference between a sword and a battle axe?
I noticed the battle axe has more damage but more weight, but the sword has less weight and less damage, does that mean the sword is faster?
Is it viable to go both Magic and Melee at the same time? Or will that just lead to "Jack of all trades, but still useless at everything"?
yeah battlemage is pretty much the way to go me and my friends have found, just the smoothest and easiest way to play because you run low on stamina and can use spells, run low on magicka and can hit.
no dicking around, you can also do both at the same time but that's a bit clunky.
also just depends on the situation, i'm a battlemage but i'll use a bow where possible to avoid battles in the first place, though in a lot of situations it ends up not working that way.
Next play through i think i'll go heavy armor/battleaxe orc, or something

yeah sword is faster; but damage and weight depends on the sword/battle axe itself and what it's made of. they also fight a bit differently
I'm getting so much dragon bones and scales, but the general stores at Whiterun and Riverwood have no money to buy them off me. Wheres another town that isn't far away from Whiterun that can buy my dragon stuff?
Also, what the hell do I do with the golden claw from bleak falls? It says find the owner but there's no marker for anything. That brings me to another point. I hate the fact that most, if not all of the MISC quests have no direction at all. Like the one where it tells you to find the Redguard in Whiterun. I really don't want to run all around town looking for her.
im a good boy
IT'S INSTALLING RAGHARHGAHR yesss
I remember when I was about level 3, and I was walking up to the ruined fort outside Falkreath, when suddenly, a spriggan shows up. "No matter!" I thought, "it shall taste my flames!"
Bad idea. It started shooting bees or something at me, and I had to run to Falkreath chugging nearly
all my health potions, and letting the guards finish the spriggan off. Shit was tense.

the guy in riverwood will buy dragon bones, but he's poor
Who is "Arcadia" and why did he/she send hired thugs to kill me?
I'm on the first mission for the College where they take you on a field trip to a dungeon. [sp]When I put on the amulet and cast a spell to break the door, Skyrim crashes.[/sp] What do?
Dwarven armor is so badass.
oh god, I can't stop playing this masterpiece of a game.

Battle axe makes you look like you're from Rohan
Combat is fun as hell, archery is useful, everything looks good.
Great, great, great game.
Argonian master race
Argonians are FINALLY GENUINELY THE MASTER RACE OF TAMRIEL
Seriously, these fucka's now have regenerative health? AND UNDERWATER BREATHING? AND LOOK INSANELY BADASS?
IT'S ABOUT TIME
/proud roller of Argonians in Morrowind and Oblivion
Actually, do all races regenerate health? I'm noticing some slight regeneration of health.
Getting to the [sp]Greybeards[/sp] is proving to be hard as fuck.
I thought it was going to be easy, but noooo, MOUNTAINS EVERYWHERE.
I used the horse climbing bug and pretty much flew up the mountain :v:

Pretty sure that everyone has some form of health regeneration, but it's extremely slow.
But seriously, how do I yield.
I can't possibly kill an entire village for punching a chicken
fuck paypal didn't give steam the money, oh fuck oh shit we're gonna be poor!
Pretty sure that everyone has some form of health regeneration, but it's extremely slow.
yeah tbh when I first heard that the game would have regenerative health I thought it'd be shit
but the speed it's at actually is kinda good, saves me the trouble of casting heal spells all the time if i'm just walking around after a small battle or something, it's like your magicka is being trickled into healing your health at such a slow rate that it doesn't actually go down, that's how I imagine it
But seriously, how do I yield.

OH MY GOD I KNOW RIGHT
Chickens must be holy to the Nords. I lit one on fire, and suddenly the national guard was up my ass.
I'm confused; is my bow automatically aiming higher when the crosshair is aimed at a distant object to compensate for drop?
If so, can I turn that kindergarten shit off?
[SP]Did it end when you killed him?[/sp]
If so that's a short storyline.

Draw your weapons and then undraw them if that doesn't work keep doing that until they stop. If they don't stop you've done too much crime for them to stop.
I like how magic is much stronger in this game, you can actually be a 100% mage without getting raped/being forced to use other weapons.
Though some magic is OP as fuck. Went into a chamber that had a necromancer and like six of those shadow knight things, wiped them all out with one Ice Storm.
I am not much of a RPG fan, but should i buy this?
Did you remotely enjoy any previous Elder Scrolls Games?
Did you remotely enjoy any of the new generation Fallout games?
DO YOU LIKE FREE-ROAMING, CONQUER THE FUCKING WORLD, BADASS GAMES?
then yes

Magic is way to OP.
Dual wield Flames and Sparks. Attack. Watch the corpses pile up.
Dual weilding magic is actually so sweet. It feels like Bioshock on steroids.

I've been wondering this aswell.

it fires to aim at whatever the cross hair is pointed at, if you're aiming far off; it'll fire higher to compensate; if your aiming at a person, it'll fire to hit the point the crosshair is on I believe.
That's how my experience with it has been, and tbh while it's kinda obviously there to make the game simpler, it is kinda annoying at times (first few times I used bow aimed above guys head to compensate for drop; nope)
no doubt a mod will fix it, but we shouldn't have to rely on that

Lame.
I'm also keen for crossbows too. Can I get one in vanilla Skyrim?
