just [sp]done the first proper anduin fight when you get dragonrend[/sp] did the whole fight, then thought it would be a good idea to run down the mountain side. Fell really far and died, and my last save was before the fight.
FUCK.
Beautiful view

so is it generally advisable to use light armor when being an archer? I use steel armor and I'm an archer and i was wondering if there were any advantages

[SP]I'm a bit sad that werewolves are not what they were in Bloodmoon, there isn't a curse, you just change at will. What happened to the once a month thing? That would of been far cooler [/SP]
Ah! I figured it out: [sp] in the Mind of Madness quest, to do the arena part, you have to shoot one of the people sitting on the other side of the arena [/sp]
Ugh, I think I have a bug. I'm trying to enter the door during the quest where [sp]you help the stormcloaks retrieve the Jagged Crown[/sp] but it refuses to open.
Every guard in this game is an asshole Arnold Schwarzenegger impersonator with an Australian accent.
Many of you may have fought a dragon and were good at it. Hell, I'm sure some of you can take a dragon down without effort. But I dare ask all of you a question:
Have any of you, any of you fearless, undefeatable, rough-as-nails dragon slayers ever fought...

Does anyone have any general tips for how the hell to use stealth?
Not as in, what button to use sneak and shit, but actually using it to avoid detection and to backstab people. It feels A LOT harder than in oblivion, and I barely ever get close enough to anyone to backstab. If I use sneak, I won't be able to catch up with them, if I don't, they'll detect me.
I'm on this really annoying mission right now where I have to get past a bunch of guards and assasinate someone, but I can't manage to get around them without being detected. My stealth knowledge from Hitman also proved useless, as putting on the clothes of a dead guard still made them recognize me instantly.
im cute

Not sure if that would do anything. My Skyrim only uses ~900 MB of RAM at most. :v:

Oh man, being able to disguise as a guard would have been sweet. Still, have you perked up your Stealth skill? It does wonders for sneaking buy and being able to fast-sneak. Though any advantages I have I've kind of fucked over by not using the HUD, so I have no idea if I'm about to be detected or not.

it's cuz ware wolfs aren't ware wolfs, they're that other thing (i forget what they're called, thinking harry potter prisoner of azkaban)
Don't chase them around, wait for them to stop moving.
Smithing is way too easy to level. Got 100 iron ingots and 100 leather straps. Made 100 daggers and went from 27 to 64 smithing.
Hey, how to I get to High Hrothgar? I can't seem to find any roads leading there.
I was on my horse, dragon swept down picked us both up, horse glitched somehow. Landed and had fuck all health, then a second dragon came out of nowhere, they both landed and fucked my shit up.

I killed my first dragon at lvl 3. How do you guys level up so fast?
I had 7 hrs of playtime when I reached lvl 3, a friend got to lvl 6 in 3 hrs.

To the west of the mountain is a small settlement, with 7000 steps up to it. You get a quest from a guy to deliver supplies.
Hey, how to I get to High Hrothgar? I can't seem to find any roads leading there.
Walk around the mountain to the small village, from the small village you follow the path up the mountain.

20 hours here, just been exploring mainly, only level 9.
Got a friend on steam who's not touched the main quests at all yet and is already level 18. Waiting till he's level 20 to actually fight his first dragon.
I'm level 19 only just got to the Greybeards. Been training my smithing, alchemy and pickpocketing. Got 8 perk points to use cause most of it seems pretty useless.
Has anyone else suffered for a instant FPS drop?
I was playing all fine on Ultra before, constant 50-60 FPS, and now I can only run it at 50 FPS on Low.
goddamnit, i go to Markarth, fancy getting a house there, speak to the jarl he tells me i gotta kill somebody, i go do that, come back and then...wheres my fucking option to ask for the fucking house you bastard

Planned Parenthood of Skyrim. It's a noble thing.
Did people join the rebels or the Empire?

happens to me occasionally, I just alt tab the game then alt tab back in and it clears up usually; but sounds like yours might be something else if you have had to change the settings to low...
