they did
Mods can't come quick enough for me then. Damn.
Only the Menu controls.
Menu controls are awful, agreed.
On top of that we have:
• Mismatched X and Y mouse axis sensitivities.
• Awful, console menus.
• Having to highlight options with your cursor before selecting them (e.g. dialogue options).
Read the rest of my post, my computer is from 07' and I have zero problems running the game.
It's only got a few bugs and the only problem is the menus.
If it was a shit port it would run like shit on every computer, crash constantly, and have literally no options, also be riddled with bugs.
Yeah, I read your post - fantastic, good for you etc.
You may be experiencing a small amount of bugs, but don't assume that for everyone else.
I keep restarting the game because I'm not satisfied with my race/character. Does anybody have that list of the traits exclusive to the races? Like, which one is better for combat/magic/etc?
Read the thread, people experiencing tons of bugs on the PC in the game are in such a small minority they're basically extinct.
Are you serious?
I think the single best thing about this game so far is how you can't waste levels anymore. Thank fuck I don't have to leave a dungeon to sleep and level up like in Oblivion.
I'm level 8 right now, been going around burninating shit with Flames and bashing things with my steel mace. Doing Winterhold College quests right now.
edit: also I found a hunter and beat the shit out of her. I got 40 bounty, and then I killed her dog and lost the bounty for killing every witness :v:
Only the Menu controls.
And even then they're not that bad.
By which I mean they are, but I've definitely seen interfaces that annoyed me more than Skyrim's, though maybe that's just because I'm generally used to navigating menus with my keyboard.
Yes.
If I'm not allowed to bitch about the gamebreaking bugs I'm having in BF3 in the BF3 thread, you're not allowed to bitch here about your bugs in Skyrim.
That is the dumbest thing you have said so far. You are a dumb person.
Take it to the official Skyrim forum, they have a technical support forum that can help you.
Okay, boss.
I wanna make a heavy armor/one-handed/conjuration/destruction focused build, what race should I choose?
You know, originally I really thought the crafting was going to be an afterthought and that I wouldn't be using it, but I'm really enjoying it. I've already spent hours ignoring quests and just gathering resources to make armor :v:
Is there a way i can bind different shouts to different keys? Can't be assed to go to menu every time..
[img_thumb]http://dl.dropbox.com/u/27677689/TESV%202011-11-12%2017-08-01-30.jpg[/img_thumb]
YES!
Hah, i also found him.
Was walking near Whiterun, saw a dragon circling over head. Rushed to the watchtower to shoot at him, he didn't even try to fight me. Then he disappeared into the night like a draconic Batman...
It's the truth, if you can't deal with it, then leave.
No one here wants to hear you bitch about bugs, take it to a place where they can actually help you.
Aren't forums meant for discussing the game and to help out users?
You're not really fulfilling the purpose of this thread by telling me to fuck off with my problems.
Killed Astrid when she kidnapped me and expected me to murder those people. I'm off to wipe out the remainder of her organization. The reward better be worth it!
Still waiting for my copy to arrive - probably on monday, dangit
Got a question - how fun and hard are the dragons, anyway?
Lusty Argonian Maid, Volume 2.
Pfffftt hahahahaha

They're not really hard at higher levels, but if you're low level and have nobody to help you, they're going to be hard to kill.
Fuck yeaaaaah, made myself some dragon armour!
Is there a way i can bind different shouts to different keys? Can't be assed to go to menu every time..
Can't you favourite the item and do it that way? Don't know how on PC, but on PS3 I press triangle on the item, then during play you can press UP on the D-PAD and it has a list of your favourited items for easy selection.
Is there a way i can bind different shouts to different keys? Can't be assed to go to menu every time..
You can bind them to 1-8 keys by favoriting the item, bringing up the favourite menu (using Q) then selecting the shout, and with the q menu still open push the number key you wish to assign the shout to.
Also works with items, weapons.etc

They're very challenging and tense, but VERY fun. Be sure to bring a lot of potions though. Also, I've never had more fun in an Elder Scrolls game than being chased by a dragon halfway across an entire hold because I was trying to reach a city so I could get help from the guards.

If I may ask... How?
Oh god the dwaren shield has so many clipping problems it's ruined.
I'm sticking to my steel shield. 2 points of armor isn't worth it for that ugly clipping thing.
I found M'aiq near the top of a snowy mountain punching a Flame Atronach.
Nice.
How much crap did you have to make with smithing before you were able to make it?
I ended up spending about 4-5k gold to get to level 100. I just constantly made iron daggers because everything gives you the same xp and they're probably the cheapest to make. Just did rounds between towns buying iron ingots and ore and just make iron daggers and sell them. Probably took around 500-600 iron to get to 100.
If I may ask... How?
Have a smithing level of 100.
