I'm hoping for choice in body type, I want to make an obese character, a thin character, and a reasonable character. I also hope they don't remove the ability to make outlandish hair colors.
They did confirm bodytypes in character customization I believe. I'll make a nimble assassin and a badass muscular dual-wielding axe viking Nord.

for Skyrim I can't decide, loving Mage on this playthrough of Oblivion, but I think I might go for a dual dagger wielding sneaky son of a bitch

Damn right, I'm hoping Bethesda have just been saving the best for last regarding the race screenshots. I've been an Argonian assassin in every Elder Scrolls game.
They need to release images of Argonians ASAP.

God dammit, we already have a picture of a dark elf.
I wish games like this weren't so combat orientated. Like I think it would be cool to travel the lands as a minstrel and perform for everyone. But things like persuasion and mercantile skills are automatically secondary skills because they have benefits and all but you have to use a weapon to play this game. I don't know and now that I've written it out it seems a little silly but that's just my two cents.

It's the nose and the facial structure, coupled with the beard and the style of the daggers. It gives off a very Persian vibe, which is actually quite cool. It'll be interesting to see if they mirror the Persian culture with the Dark Elves, as Morrowind always felt like a Qatar or an Iran to me.

So I was reading some stuff on the official Skyrim forums, and someone mentioned there being no big battles in the game, due to the consoles (apparently confirmed by some developer).
This is what I was hoping for, but now I'm really disappointed and mad. Why do they always screw the PC players and simply focus on the console? It's the same when the developers have been saying "it will look better on PC, we promise", but this usually turns out to be a big fat lie. Couldn't they rather develop it for PC's and dumb it down for the consoles? I also heard the physics engine won't live up to its full potential, also because of consoles. Fuck it.

This is a report about a couple at the Skyrim demo at QuakeCon
"Stevi and her fiancé Chaz were attending the QuakeCon 2011 game conference in Dallas Friday and were among the packed crowd on hand to see the 40-minute demonstration of "Skyrim" (which launches Nov. 11.) That's when Stevi went into labor.
As Chaz told Game Informer:
During the demo Todd Howard (director for "Skyrim") showed off the Frost Dragon. This is what started the whole thing, seeing this must have filled Stevi with so much excitement that it sent her into labor.
As it turns out, the couple did not bolt for the hospital. Instead, they stayed on through the rest of the demonstration."
So, if you watched the demo and you thought you heard a girl screaming like she was pregnant. You were correct.

I kinda like the Arabian/Asian style they decided to give them, really fits what they are.
