There a list of recommended ini or console settings to increase the graphical settings, disable vsync, mouse accel, etc?
i'm still hoping for a mod that smooths out shadow transitions, instead of doing a quick one once every in game hour
There's some fairly good texture replacements out. Very neat and tiny to install/uninstall. A badly made nude mod already, too. I didn't get this one, but no blocky faces seems pretty useful. Smooths out the bumpmaps. [t]http://www.skyrimnexus.com/downloads/images/30-1-1321041074.jpg[/t] Detailed faces is nice. [t]http://www.skyrimnexus.com/downloads/images/26-1-1321024935.jpg[/t] My favorite so far is the enhanced blood mod [t]http://www.skyrimnexus.com/downloads/images/60-1-1321108740.jpg[/t] For those who don't have a clock in the room or don't want to shift + tab for the time, there's a mod to add a clock to the loading screen. The shit thing about Skyrim Nexus is that you have to register if you want to download any file over 2 MB, and it's really slow from all the traffic. I uploaded the 2 MB+ ones to Filesmelt for you guys.
Anyone else found unusual gems? I have found two, [sp]one in the Jarl of Whiterun's bedroom and one in the Leader of the Companions bedroom.[/sp] Additionally I have found a treasure map- do I need a shovel to collect the treasure?
I have three, [sp] You can find another one in the catacombs in the hall of the dead[/sp]
i've found that most of the game is just fucking beautiful, at least in comparison to oblivion
That/Those 'areas' blow me away every fucking time. I have some more pictures of some amazing skyboxes and other crazy stuff; but it's much more spolierish since it's from the Main Quest and not a random spelunking trip.
Those big, circle puzzle type doors in tombs? I couldn't work them out. I had no clues as to the combination. In the end, I opened three of them by testing every single combination. It took ages fucking, but finally it opened. Later, at a general store. I was debating with myself whether or not I should sell the claw shaped key. I looked at it, then I looked it a bit closer, and noticed the markings on the claw. I may have said a naughty word.
I love fighting trolls especially with their crazy health regeneration
Punch him in the face. It opens the [sp]League of Youth[/sp] quest line
Yeah I figured that's how it'd go...
I want the item codes. I need to cheat my way up to the highest level of Blacksmithing.

Not sure if this is commonly known, but idling in Skyrim menu soars my cards temperatures through the roof.
I really hope someone makes a mod that gives the misc quests map markers i want to do all that stuff but i don't know where to go ;-;
I thought if you clicked the misc quests in your log, it'd cause quest markers to pop up anyway? If not, also try clicking the 'Miscellaneous Quests' category, so that it has a marker.
Goddamn the ps3 version is shitty. Everything is flickery and pixelated as fuck and the frame-rate is terrible. Thank god I rented it. The game is pretty good, much better than oblivion. The thing that bothers me is the stiff animations, a.i bugs, and kind of clunky melee. If Saints Row 3 wasn't coming out I would have bought the PC version of this game.
Just click the Misc quest you want to follow on the right :v:
Not sure if this is commonly known, but idling in Skyrim menu soars my cards temperatures through the roof.
It's the dragons, man.
It's the dragons, man.
90 Celcius must be a dragons flames then :v:
The thing that bothers me is the stiff animations, a.i bugs, and kind of clunky melee.
I don't think I had problems with any of these. I just wish the UI was more PC friendly. [editline]12th November 2011[/editline]
90 Celcius must be a dragons flames then :v:
Kill all the dragons so you can play the game cool. And stop using fire magic.
geez you people dont have a life? you can stand more than 20 hours playing this while me only 3-4 hours after that i get bored and i do something else
Where do you go to sell stuff? Everyone has like, 50 gold.
I stole the Gold Claw after I took it back to the guy. I feel so sneaky.
Is there a way to get an item's ID using the console? I remember there being a similar way in one of the Fallout games...
geez you people dont have a life? you can stand more than 20 hours playing this while me only 3-4 hours after that i get bored and i do something else
Its their own time, why do you care? You obviously have time to waste if you're posting about it.
Anyone else in the labyrinthian? I have no idea what I'm suppose to do there. So far I've: [sp]Found that wooden mask and read the note Used said mask and traveled back in time Looked at those statues and I have no idea what to do about them Took all 4 staffs and got that dragon command. Went into the rather pointless maze and found some weird centurion dynamo thing Used the mask and went into a void where I fought a demon and flame atronachs. Got teleported outside the maze. [/sp] Well what am I suppose to be doing?
Where do you go to sell stuff? Everyone has like, 50 gold.
General Store
geez you people dont have a life? you can stand more than 20 hours playing this while me only 3-4 hours after that i get bored and i do something else
good for you
was I supposed to beat the main quest at level 13?
I really like how you get a quest to [sp]Destroy the Dark Brotherhood![/sp] if you [sp]kill Astrid[/sp] at first. I'll do that if I somehow finish my character within my lifetime.
