I've discovered Giants and Mammoths hate water.
I've killed about 10 mammoths already, they don't go into water, and neither do the giants.
Time to go kill me some giants.
I'm playing as a mage type character, but I keep getting my butt kicked if there's more then 1-2 guys (I run out of magicka)
Even though I have 300 magicka, and 75% bonus regen it doesn't seem to help at all. Yeah, I do have the perks to lower costs too, but it hasn't done me any real good. Any tips?
Take out enemies before they can cluster around you. If they do, Unrelenting Force 3 takes care of them very well. Also try and get some of the items that reduce how much mana it costs to cast spells. The robe you get at the end of the college questline is probably the best you can get. If you follow the college questline you get a mask that gives you 100% mana regeneration, and it stacks with the 100% from the Archmage robe.
Can anyone help me out with a problem I've been having with Skyrim? I can play the game just fine for a while, but after a certain amount of time, the game looks like it accelerates to high speed whenever I enter interiors. NPCs' mouths stop moving half-way through sentences.
I found Labyrinthian and got into the place to place all 8 dragonpriest masks - but the trouble is, I don't know where the priest dungeon locations are. I know the names of the places from the table at http://www.primagames.com/games/elder-scrolls-v-skyrim/primaguides/232/walkthrough/4718 , but not where those places are. If anyone could help me with screenshots or anything, it would be awesome and once I get all 8 masks i'll post what happens when I put them in. The location names are:
Volskygge
Labyrinthian ( I already know where this dungeon is and have the mask.)
High Gate Ruins
Shearpoint
Ragnvald
Valthume
Forelhost
Skuldafn (I already know where this is (Required to kill the priest for main quest, have the mask)
Any help would be appreciated as to where the places are.
I really hope they release the toolset in the next couple of days...

This man can defy physics. It's like the matrix but with less clothing.
I always read your posts in bensons voice. So it sounds like you're always indifferent to things. :v:
Benson doesn't get excited, but he can be cheerfully optimistic, like when they went out for drinks or bowling.
So what level is everyone and what is your highest skill level so far?
So what level is everyone and what is your highest skill level so far?
Level 13. One-Handed is my best at rank 38, and Destruction and Lockpicking tie for 2nd at rank 33.
I read a ghost story in the game that describes a ghostly woman who sobs and laughs and threatens people with an axe. I wonder, could these stories have some merit and I can actually find this haunted cabin?
where is meekos cabin?
i want him
So what level is everyone and what is your highest skill level so far?
19 or 20 (can't remember), and I believe One-Handed at 52.
1h 18m
So, I've decided to start collecting certain books; specifically A Dance In Fire, The Argonian Account, and The Song of Pelinal. It gives me a reason to check out bookshelves and allows me to reread my favorites from Oblivion, considering I haven't done so in a year or two.
Are there faster horses? The one you get at Whiterun rides like a donkey. If so, where can I get the fastest one. I have 15k sitting in my pocket waiting to be used.

Holy shit, some of these sidequests almost deserve another game! I've been travelling around doing the quest in that wizard College in that one city that was half destroyed by a tsunami or something like, 200 years ago for like, almost 6 hours now
Also, has anyone else seen NPCs take down a dragon all their own? I walked into one of the villages in the forest and a dragon skeleton was just laying in the street, and I had nothing to do with its death
Also, this is probably the most atmospheric game I've played in.....ever
holy shit i'm surprised for the amount of content that the game is only 6 gb
Uthgerd the Unbroken just ran up to me in the Bannered Mare and started trying to kick my ass, so I stabbed here in the chest with my two blades.
Is she important for anything? Because I'm really worried about this random attack.

Level 19. Sneak 76.

Giants > Dragons. I underestimated a dragon and ran for the hills. Found a Giant and they immediately aggro'd each other.

because it's not a side quest per se, it's a quest line that the main quest introduces you to and lets you chose whether or not to play through it; if you don't though you pretty much miss out on a bunch of story stuff
same with thieves guild, dark brotherhood, the bard's college (though I think that ones smaller), the civil war quest line (not spoilers, says so in general stats)
etc. It's all to do with the over-all story
which is why I think it's kinda mis-leading calling the main quest the main quest; it's more like the tutorial section of the game in that it brings you into all those other quest lines

Took me 26 to figure out that ALT was sprint. :v:
