I wouldn't have used a mod to turn him into a cabbage and sell him if he was that cool, too. [editline]10th August 2011[/editline] Also, good Oblivion mods that add armor and weapons but do not effect graphics at all?
fcom?

I just remembered something I always found odd with RPGs. Having the ability to pause quests at any point. Such as in Fallout where a character asks you to go save someone else that's about to be killed. You can quest all the way up to the door that leads to the room, stop, leave, bfuck around for hours on end, return and continue where you left, open the door, cap bitches, save tthe most patient person ever. It always kills my immersion when I realize I'm never in a rush to do shit. Same with those Oblivion Gates. Like if the world I'm in, is on pause until I make a move.

Including and especially characters like Martin.

I played a bit of Daggerfall, and it had a timed quest system. A man asked me to save his wife, I accepted, not realizing I had another quest due soon of more importance. Had to finish important quest first, arrived too late to save the wife. It keeps me from trying to fill my journal with all of the town's's quest. Like what I do in most RPGs. I don't know why, but I have an urge to gather all the quests I can before setting out to do them.
Kotaku posted a 40 minute video of Skyrim from youtube on their website, but it was taken down before I could see it. Did anyone see it and can tell me what was new in it or link me to a working link to the video?

Todd basically goes through the same areas like in the last demo we saw. With a bit of variation due to the screams of fans. Honestly, it wasn't that much different. It was just continous.

I am currently a level 11 warrior Nord and I am just running around, doing side-quests at my own pace, rather than following the story (Yeah, I still have the amulet) It makes me feel more... free, I suppose
I hope Bethesda makes the next Fallout game with the new engine. [editline]10th August 2011[/editline]
My faith on humanity suffered severely from said screams. Stumbled upon this while reading TES wiki http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Skyrim_news
Beast races have humanoid legs Confirmed Sneaking , Pickpocketing and lockpicking are separate skills Confirmed Alchemical properties of ingredients are identified by experimentation or consumption ... Performing alchemy to make new potions can be done at a workbench . Aurora Borealis confirmed Aurora Borealis = Northern Lights Salmon fish can be picked by hand from rivers . Chickens exist and you can steal their eggs Cows are confirmed No blocking while dual-wielding Foxs are confirmed Fish jump in and out of stream Books which zoom in and open and changing pages has a page flip animation. Iron gate trap will be in that swing back and forth You can collect Lavender and Tundra Cotton You can bribe and intimidate guards You can ask Bards to sing for you Torchbugs and Luna-moths can be collected You can add scars and face-paint in the character-creation menu You can steal a horse and make a run for it without the guards catching you. Lockpicking is similar to Fallout 3 , using 2 lock picks and rotating the lock to find the sweet spot. Perk points can be stored and used at later levels. The Stormcloak (The Rebels) fraction Honeycombs are confirmed and you can acquire honey from them
And they have famous actor, Max von Sydow, voicing Esbern, apparently he teaches the Dragonborn in one way or another. He also narrated the trailer.
Why do the fans have the cheer after everything?
Probably both because they've all been waiting for so long, and have gotten so adjusted to Oblivion and Morrowind that seeing anything new excites them, and because they're just massive nerds like myself and a lot of other people.

And what do they mean with the Aurora Borealis? What's so special about it? It's just magnetic lights. And the last part was announced WAY IN THE BEGINNING.
You can add scars and face-paint in the character-creation menu
sweet
So still no thread limit?
I'm glad they aren't using the Oblivion lock picking method - it just made me rage everytime.
Cows are confirmed? Thank god I was worried there for a second.
Cows are confirmed? Thank god I was worried there for a second.
I wonder if you can sneak up a tip them over like in Fallout 3.
You can add face paint sweet
I hope this is possible.
I'm going to be a big honey bear who just steals honey all day.
sweet
I hope you can make a blinded eye scar. Bethesda had one in Brink.
I'm going to be a big honey bear who just steals honey all day.
I was thinking of doing the same thing but with stealing chicken eggs.
I hope this is possible.
I want a blue handprint face paint. Some of the morrowind nord faces had that, looks awesome. [editline]10th August 2011[/editline]
I hope you can make a blinded eye scar. Splash Damage had one in Brink.
Fixed. Gotta remember, Game Developer =/= Game Publisher
I hope you can make a blinded eye scar. Bethesda had one in Brink.
Blind both of your eyes and just wave around your swords hoping to kill something.
I was thinking of doing the same thing but with stealing chicken eggs.
I will steal calipers until there are no more calipers in skyrim and it causes them to shoot up in price because of the virtual economy.
