He probably just played around with the saturation contrast and gamma a lot in his video card control panel. The colors are inaccurate but they look better, and you could argue the stock ones are really inaccurate too.
Well, i don't give a schnitz about the color accuracy to be honest. I just want a more colorful and living game, but of course i don't want crushed blacks too.
Will have to do some tweaks then.

PC wasn't the lead platform, it was originally going to be but EA is greedy and they had a deadline.
It's easier to build off a console build first and port it to PC.
You have probably realized most the maps weren't built for 64 player matches.

It was up until mid-development. That was when they realized the console version at that time, was a pile a horse shit and then they shifted focus to make it a better. I bet the console version at that time didn't even have the HD texture pack or if it was even planned. It probably had tons of glitches, kinda like what we saw in the Alpha and Beta.
