in BC2 I got used to the scope with only one vertical and horizontal line, no distances or anything. It was pretty HC scope.
but anyway, I like the downward V's, I've gotten use to them pretty well. Out of like 300 kills I got 200 headshots.
All I am doing nowadays after 130hours of time into this game is hunting wild animals with the hunting rifle SV bolt action with only ironsights, looks cool and feels great.
Also if the L96 is having an effective range of 800 metres does that make it the most powerful middle close range sniper bolt action? Can someone also tell me how much metres the 2nd and 3rd line of the balistic 12x scope are for the M98b? The first one is 500 metres, can't figure out the rest.. 780 is about 1.35 lines.

I headshotted a guy at 1150 meters with the m98 + 12x scope, i think it was at roughly the second line

Late to the HMG discussion but I think it sucks
It doesn't overheat yes, it's very accurate yes but it's not a machine gun
LMG all the way, there may be a bigger spread and overheating may be easy, but it's a lot more fun to mow down running infantry with it and it's a lot more effective on groups

agreed; LMG, thermal, maintenance. the way I roll with tanks.
Also, I've never really been a pilot (used to sitting as a gunner in attack heli :v:) but to pay some of that off I've started to fly the double minigun transport heli by every chance I get.

That or flying low level in a Viper and giving infantry/tanks hell

I just figured out a few days ago that you could put down as many mines as you want.
I would spam them around key areas and around the map and I would kill EVERY SINGLE VEHICLE on the map.
I usually put down around 60 by the time the game ends.

Nothing beats sitting on top of a large rock for the entire game locking on to and shooting down enemy aircraft, not to mention the thrill of getting a double kill every 17 minutes when I manage to shoot down an enemy heli.
That or getting angry messages after every game and getting complaints filed against me.
Then again raping helicopters and jets with dozens of stingers while I camp on a rock for the entire game doing nothing is a great experience

It's pretty pointless in BF3, but in some other games it's useful. In MechWarrior Living Legends, my unit will call out coordinates, bearing, speed, and assumed relative bearings of enemy contacts so that our artillery can accurately drop shells on people's heads. :v:
Yeah well it's not useful when I'm trying to concentrate in hitting a moving target in a helicopter, or avoiding low flying trees

Back to Karkand didn't have keys for preorder, if you have the Limited Edition it auto adds it.
Not sure if that's how it works in Canada, but that's how I've heard it here.
