I disagree. Heatseakers are glorious. I'll use Rocket Pods when I get them though so I can bust up tanks too
All you need to be a good pilot is Air Radar, IR Flares, and Rocket Pods.
The only thing I find difficult is judging where your rockets will hit. I thought it was the I shape but it never works.
So I played for the first time in about a month (thank you Skyrim and 2 week vacation), wondering if the upcoming release of Karkand influenced any solid balancing patches
Eh, still getting killed by mostly the "I WIN" engineer class, as they continue to have the best weaponry (magnified by the fact that many people are high level now) plus a bonus rocket launcher to insta-kill anything you shoot at it in its general direction, with all the maps being unchanged balance wise too (looking at you Metro).
Why can't Metro conquest be more like this?

I don't know about you guys but I fucking HATE Siene Crossing. It's not any fun trying to get to a point and then get killed by someone where all you can see is there damn forehead from inside a building across the damn street.
