Just IDing em. I just unlocked the L96. It will probably be the only sniper rifle I'll be using on the recon for a while.

1) DICE got the sights wrong on the Famas
2) The entire French armed forces puts optics on them.
Because if not, I don't see how the French could hit anything with those.

I've had a ton of fun on all the levels so far. I really love Wake Island.
I have the Famas, and 1/2 of the assault rifle kills necessary for L85.
All I need to get the PP-19 is to play half an hour more on Karkand, and arm 10 MCOMs
The Famas is really fun to use, but the iron sight is SHIT. It's a very strict peep sight, but the gun will probably be easier to use once the servers get back up.
Can't wait for the G35 or the QBU-88 either.

Just had the best battlefield moment ever:
So I was being chased by the enemy assault heli in a transport heli, I was flying over the enemy point and I saw a empty tank. Since I had no passengers I went like "Fuck it". I jumped out of the chopper as 2 AA missiles hit it, jumped into the tank, turned around and shot the chopper team in the face before finishing them off with my HMG.
Awesome, and all on that good ol FP server.

You see, in France they dont actually use guns, they just wear them to scare off potential threat. Joking aside, aiming in real life is not same as in game, i dont know how can you critisize something like that from your experience with such game as BF3. Its not even about being arcade, its about how your eyes/ 2d picture of monitor work.

Again, having used one myself, I can tell you it is incredibly difficult to use. Its impossible to get a quick acquisition, and when you do, you fire the gun and have to re-align the sights all over again. Its terrible.
