Do you use a Nvidia card? I heard Nvidia has crap driver compatibility for BF3 at the moment(last month or so).

ur comp sucks
Specifically the 560ti, which I think has this issue moreso than most other cards. For cpu, I have an i7-2600k oc'd at 4.7 ghz.
And temp isn't an issue, as far as I have seen on the performance monitor on my keyboard.

Theres you're problem, its been happening since the beta.. just wait for Nvidia to fix it. My 5770 has no artifacts.

I was with ati once. 9600 (9800?) radeon pro. barely any driver updates and couldn't run crysis. Good thing I went with Nvidia.
My 560Ti works perfectly, it's not related to 560 Ti only.

You would think [i]somewhere[/i] in the last 2 patches there would have been a fix. Which bothers me because it's hard to enjoy large outside maps, I am literally stuck to metro,tehran, and the like until this is fixed. And I fucking love this game.

Really? My 260 was pretty amazing, it never over-heated and did what I wanted it to do, now i've upgraded to the 580 I can enjoy whatever the hell I want :v:

My 260 overheated to [b] 90C [/b] while playing Bad Company 2. Glad I retired that piece of shit.

Its still DRM at its core, something I could live without. Why the hell should I have to download steam so I can play Rage, or Skyrim, or SR3, or Deus Ex, or any of the other games that get locked onto steam, even if they're god damn singleplayer games.

For me it's more about quality of service. I bought BTK some seven hours ago and they still don't think I own it. Now I can't even access the service, I'm getting various messages ranging from fuck you to my password is wrong.

I thought there was a beta driver somewhere that fixed this? I'm using NVidia and haven't seen this problem at all, just random green flashes now and again, like an hour and a half apart from each other, not too common and not at all annoying.
If you're still getting it try re-installing the drivers, because i've got the latest driver from the NVidia website, and it's working fine for me. If anything it could just be something to do with your card.

A) That's not. There are no issues between AMD processors and Nvidia cards, or vice-versa.
B) 90C isn't no that high for a GPU.

Well that's the thing, I guess people prefer digital downloads to prevent a lot of space from being taken up by physical copies, and after you've downloaded the game you can just activate offline mode and instead play without an internet connection on the singleplayer of games. But yeah, the catch is, for digital storage of games you need to be connected to the internet to at least download the game.
I'm trying to launch Battlefield 3 but it keeps attempting to launch the Battlefield 3 Alpha.

funny because i can only recall maybe two times in all my years of steam where i couldn't access steam, this is the second time it's happened with origin and it's happened multiple times with battlelog
