To be fair, the F35 has a seriously steep learning curve.
learning curve, calling out people being bad with it. Sure why not.
It just has no purpose at all. Hover mode has probably little areas where it is decent but otherwise pointless and a helicopter would likely do the job better anyway. The other jets just outperform it, heck I bet even if it was F35s vs frogfoots the frogfoots would dominate.
The MAV on Strike at Karkand is so amazing. The compact city-scape combat combined with high map roof means a ton of assists while staying alive a long time.
I even got 3 MAV kills in one run, 6 during one round.
so when i logged into orgin i got "account currently logged in on another computer" is there an error like this going around, or should i scramble into emergency freaking the fuck out and change all my passwords?
I honestly think they need to change the requirements for the last engineer assignment, blowing up any vehicle with a blow torch is quite literally impossible in this game. Even if you can get a vehicle down to 30% and still have someone dumb enough to be sitting in it, by the time you can do enough damage with your blowtorch to blow it up they've already jumped out and you just start repairing the vehicle instead and usually die. It's fucking stupid

No not really, I did it a number of times before the DLC. Just fire a rocket at the tanks ass and when it's disabled, tear it apart with the blow torch.

I've spent the better half of the last 2 days trying this, and either they jump out as soon as it's disabled or just before it blows up. It's insanely frustrating getting a tank to 5% with a blowtorch just to have them jump out and then you start repairing it and get shot in the back
I did it to a helicopter before I did the first engineer assignment :(
first time playing support for a longish time without swapping back to another, all guns feel like lasers.
Powering through AT rocket kills the cheap way (Metro 64). At the end of the second round I decided to check because I was sure I should have enough already:

Try to get in situations where they're fighting more than just you. It took several tries but I eventually caught a LAV fighting a BTR, put a rocket in it's butt and then charged in for the finish. I think I got very lucky to get it so quickly though.

I was playing 64 bot SP Wake island in BF2 and the Enemy Captured the carrier while I was in the AA and I didn't even notice until after they started taking off from it. The fuck.
They didn't seem to notice me either.

That's definitely what I always try to do, unless a lone tank wandered off and is in the middle of nowhere then I try to sneak up behind it and shoot it a few times then go. I guess i'm just insanely unlucky since everyone i seem to be playing against actually pays attention and jumps out before i can blow it all the way up with my torch :'(

holy shit in just a few rounds I already got a G17C suppressed star, and I'm a few ribbons from Handgun medal
E-Z suppression assists: USAS-12, frag rounds, supp. spec and preferably support so you can give yourself more ammo.

Well it's not from BF3 but the sight is exactly the same as the one used in MW3 except zoomed in a little more. I don't have the mg36 but I saw the sight in one of the official vids.

just spent another 30 minutes trying, did it about 7 times where i shot them till they were disabled then started using my blowtorch and EVERY single time they jumped out. fucking ridiculous.
unlocked mg36, p good. feels like a m249 thats more accurate
