It's not fucking easy to get good with jets. First server I join, people are destroying all the fucking parked jets, second one is laggy and it's jittering all over the fucking place.

Lag is either ping problem or shitty hoster problem. Most russian hosts for BC2 and BF3 are retarded, thats why i never play there. Same could apply for servers where you play.

They should work on making BF3 not overheat an i5 750 when played at lowest settings. Just realized that's my problem, it's heating it to fucking 64C for no goddamn reason.

Upgrade from that stock cooler, BF3 is CPU intensive. I'm willing to bet you would go higher after 30 mins of Prime95

Everyone is whining about it in EVERY BtK server. But man.... Once you know how to use it, its deadly.
Instead of holding S to brake your plane i just simply tap S until my speed is around 300 to make a high G turn.
And when all the jets are down. I would just hover somewhere and take out a bunch of infantries with it.
Had a round which i went 28 - 3. All 28 kills was with the F 35.
So proud of myself.

Disable temp throttling in bios if its taking a shit at 64c.
But uhh, what my game does is it'll run fine then suddenly engage stutter mode for about 30 seconds and occasionally the display and audio will completely cut out for a second and return to near perfect.

Oh, I mean BF3 is shitting itself. My guess is just that my CPU is shitting itself as well, but not positive. Will try that though.

I guess I'm just not having great luck then. M249 felt so much better and more stasifying to shoot in AA than it does here, where sometimes it feels like I have to hit the enemy 10 times just to take one down. The M16A3 you start with for assault doesn't feel like it has hardly any weight to it at all either, and suffers from the same above problem compaired to guns I go against but with much less ammo.
Meanwhile the occasional high level weapon I've picked up simply shoots as if its not shooting bullets at all, but streams of death.
I dunno, maybe I just have to find the right gun. Only level 13-14 or so. I tend to end up using pistols all the time or the bolt-action anyways, partly because of the above and partly because they are the only guns I can be pretty decent at. Plus I like the idea of me being able to use a gun that can theoretically one-shot anyone at med-range with the right scope. Only time I really like doing any "full auto" guns in BF3 is if its with support and the M249.
The l85a2 is so fucking good, worth playing squad death match for it imo.
Has anybody else been crashing on the B2K maps? I've been getting sound loop crashes and blue screens, which I had previously fixed in vanilla BF3. The only thing that's different is my sound card took a shit a day before B2K came out and I'm now running on integrated Realtek HD sound. Anybody else? Any ideas?

Thermal spec for i5's was around 73c from what I remember, but that's from the heat spreader, not the cores.
