Seriously why 5 SQDDM wins to get the L85A2, i would like the gun even if it's rubbish just to find out for myself, but i'm never going to get it unless dice change the assignment, that gametype just is not fun, it was rubbish on bc2 and it's no better here.

I got it in 6 matches, only reason i lost 1 was because i joined it half way through and my squad was losing. It's not difficult at all to get if you're any good at the game

It's ok. The arbitrary unlock system (5 rounds of SDM? Go fuck yourself) and maps running like shit sucks, but the maps are pretty fun to play and the only one I don't like is Wake (which I've never liked)
Still my biggest complaint (and only major one, besides the map design of the stock game) is the community. Even games where both teams are fighting over objectives are just too rare. Most of the time it's a complete steamroll. I'd be lying if I said I was never on the winning team (1.7 W/L) but I still recognize it as a problem. Also people a month after release still not able to perform simple things like throw down medkits or ammo boxes.

Again, a good mode ruined by DICE's lack of mapping creativity. Every TDM map consists of one or two paths that either team just lemmings down and see who wins, no room for flanking.

the 8x is the American scope if you prefer that. I know my friend who snipes hates the Russian (7x) and ballistic scopes (12x) so he always wants the 8x equipped.

I'm damn good at the game, but no matter how good you are, you can't shoot someone through you're ass becase someones just spawned 3 foot behind ya.
Every game is dominated by 1 squad of high ranked players or friends, the rest are mix's and randoms, aka cannon fodder, did i mention that by the time you actually join you're team is already down anywhere between 10 - 30 tickets?.
To sum up it is throughly uneven, stacked and above all, boring, my mates hate the game type just as much as me and won't touch it either.
I think the game would look a lot better if everything was more saturated/less grey.
I don't like SDM just due to the nature of it's design. If you like it that's cool, but it's just not for me.
That said, even if I liked the mode, the arbitrary "Play this mode and this mode only to unlock content" is fucking annoying.
What the hell, the M416 is really insane.
1 hour in and I already have 98 kills for it.
And I suck at this game.

That's why they're forcing you to play it, because noone plays it and they want to get people to play other gamemodes. I can't blame them for doing it. I don't agree with it, but atleast it's getting people to play modes other than conquest and rush

Indeed. I get crazy FPS drops on Oman when I'm capping the City flag and a helicopter does a strafing run while a tank is shelling me and all the buildings are falling apart.
I'm getting disconnected from EA online all the time.
Can somebody tell me if it's a bug when the L96 sniper is bipodded which makes the scope zoom more than the other snipers? It's kind of bigger on the screen with a bit more zoom making it a x13 or x14 scope.. ? Other snipers dont have such thing, the zoom and scope bigness when zoomed in does not change when using the bipod but for the L96 it does.. it's kind of better than the default zoom and I really hope that they dont remove it.

So about flying...I've tried using M/K and I must say I suck at it. Since its about Christmas time I was thinking about getting a joystick and needed suggestions. Anyone who uses joysticks here, what do you use?
Also another question, I want the veteran guns so how could I get full veteran status for free? My old EA account got hacked and I lost the email that had connected to it so I couldn't recover it and I lost all my games/stats connected to it and everything. I want the guns I should have but how do I go about doing it? Do I just ask the EA support people if they could give it to me, tell them what happened to me or what?
