I need advice on how to not die all the time while still being an asset to my team
Because right now I feel like just going "fuck it" and not bothering to cap any points or doing anything that makes me an easy target, because for some reason I'm doing a great job of dieing alot versus everything when I try to be a good player since I last played.
Just had a great Karkand round. I was placed in a squad that didn't communicate much, but always followed my orders, whether typed in chat or just Q'd while taking RU's flank (E, F, & G). Meanwhile, or other teammates were either helping our squad, or pushing the RU back to D from the front while we got their flank. After their team reached ~230 tickets, they were forced back into D and proceeded to hold it until there were about 30 tickets left.
Ugh. Since last patch you can't equip your knife and stab someone with it using fire button anymore.
What's the point of equipping the knife out when you can just walk around with your rifle and teleport behind someone like in COD and take their dogtag. Needs patch

Exactly. It was ok when the game first came out. You could equip your knife and run around with it, grabbing dogtags. But since the last update you can still equip it, but you can't grab dogtags, only slash like a half-wit.
Why EA went with the COD-style, teleport ninja, Commando Perk style of stabbing people is beyond me. I miss BF2 where it takes some skill to fight someone with a knife. You actually STAB someone and they die

Should i get this game?
Is Origin really as bad as people say? Where it bans you for saying "ass" or stuff even stupider than that?
If i do get it, should i get the Karkand DLC? Or should i just play the basic maps first and then wait for the Karkand DLC to go down in price?

1. Yes, if your PC can run it
2. Yes it is. Just don't go to the forums and start swearing (official forums are a craphole anyway)
3. I say hold off on karkland DLC until you know your PC can run it and you can play well. I do not expect a price drop except maybe a christmas sale.

It wasn't intrusive.. it was at the end of the video after they finished it with a rectangular outline that only said subscribe if you hovered over it. Either way they're good at making video's and I'd subscribe.
