I need more medals
Where? If you mean the part against the russians, you were with a whole bunch of other marines and you were supported by APCs and shit.
For about half the mission, the other half was just you and your squadmates tearing through Russian VDV Paratroopers like they were out of Call of Duty or something.
oh shit I need one more kill

I have a shit KD and W/L hate on me.
I'm over half done the assignment for the L96 and I haven't played Recon since I unlocked the QBU-88. I'm glad they made it possible to do class weapon assignments with other classes.
Also, why the fuck isn't there a AA tank on Sharqi? I'm sick of these helicopter pilots and their gunners raping the team I'm on the whole fucking round.
My BF3 crashes a lot now because of this:

I have an i5 2500 3.3ghz, 5770 1gb and 4gb RAM.

I increased the accuracy on my USAS :v:

Not really. It starts out with you and your squad sitting in a jeep, rolling with a convoy, then you get ambushed and your squad gets seperated for a bit, you take out a few russian soldiers, then rejoin the main force and you're with it for pretty much the rest of the mission. Only at the end it's just you and your squad left when that jet attacks you.

I get the same thing. I have the same GPU and amount of RAM. I don't know what's wrong. It stutters on all low, but meanwhile I can play it on my laptop (GT555M, 6GB of RAM, quad i7 Sandy Bridge 2.2ghz) on all medium just fine :\

Both are almost 1 which I would call average. No hate bro.

Debateable. You do most of the killing.
I also like the part where you (a part of Marine Force Recon) split off from your fireteam and go on a 2 man sniping assault across the city to rescue a HVT. Which would never happen in reality.

Well no shit, it's a video game. That doesn't change anything. It wouldn't be fun if it was your team doing everything. The point is that it's not completely impossible for that to happen, unlike everything Modern Warfare.

Oh hey look simkas intentionally overexaggerating the argument to prove a point it's not like that ever happened before. Seriously the only time I see you post is to start an argument. Those are the only posts you make.
They are both unrealistic as shit video games and I'm not going to have a silly argument with you.
How about this, both BF3 and MW (all of them) have incredibly unrealistic sections in their single player campaign, alright? I would say the first MW, from what I remember, had about the same level of unrealistic as BF3 did; from there it only got worse, which doesn't bode well for BF4. At least there will always be multiplayer, right?

Am I the only person who wants a "realistic" SP story where you squad mates actually do shit aside from sitting there and not hitting shit? I get annoyed having to kill every single enemy, it breaks the immersion.

I'm not saying either of them are realistic, but BF3 isn't anywhere as ridiculous as Modern Warfare has become. And in BF3, every moment of the story isn't something that is either a massive plot hole or something that just makes no sense.

Pretty much this, CoD4 and BF3 are pretty much on the same level on how realistic the story is, but after CoD4, the CoD story just gets more and more ridiculous.

Exactly. Like MW, BF3 started semi-authentic (splitting up 4 man fireteams to search buildings for IED's aside) and then slowly became more Hollywood inspired because the masses (which both games market to) find the idea of an authentic military game boring. They need exaggerated threats and impossible theatrics to stay invested in the story. So BF3 cooks up a nuke, a 3 man GRU super-unit, and boom you got an interactive summer blockbuster that is just entertaining enough to beat before you move on to the meat and potatoes of the game.

So you pretty much think the same as I said but you're still arguing with me? Who's the one trying to start an argument here?
Forgot Back to Karkand got released.
ahaha holy shit this game is so broken
stinger rockets that deal no damage, spawning in front of enemy soldiers, bipod weapons still aren't aiming where they should, still terrible netcode - I don't remember any successful attempt at retreating to a cover WITHOUT getting killed in a single frame or when I'm already behind it
the only one type of servers that i find enjoyable are metro conquest, aka meatgrinders
I actually played for about an hour this morning on a 64 player TDM server. Despite some of the maps not working well for it (Seine Crossing namely) it was really damn fun.

Terrible K/D and W/L ratio.
:(

I'd imagine that would be quite the clusterfuck.

When someone says this.
I think back on the first time I played Star Wars Republic Commando.

Probably a bug then :v: I've only started to get it after the last patch.

I crash rarely on an i5 750, 560 Ti and 6gigs of ram.

Grabbing a 560ti OC in January :D
Also, this colourblind thing is so much better. Made me better somehow :D Was doing amazing in the jets and being recon.
I crash half the time when I alt tab between rounds
No, I won't spend a minute staring at useless stats
god damnit game let me go into the menu after being killed, I don't want to look at the god damn killcam, I don't give two shits what weapon the guy uses, god damn.
I'd imagine that would be quite the clusterfuck.
The TDM portion of the map is just the area immediately around the first two MCOM stations on Seine Rush. Imagine that with 64 players. Yeah. Clusterfuck.
