With ECM you can blow up incoming javelins in midair afaik.
I've fired javelins at targets before who have popped ECM (after I fire) and always got the kill
Might just be against other vehicle's missiles then.
From what I heard ECM delays enemy lock-ons if fired at the right time, but the duration is really short. I'm unlocking it for jets soon, gonna try it myself.
So I went and recorded my first full game of Wake Island the other night. Now I feel like sharing the condensed version.

Next engineer unlock is the Javelin. Fuck yeah!

Also if you suck at this game i ( maybe ) have the solution :
The game is bearing down on me, and it has been a tough session for hours. My fingers cramp and my head swims as hunger threatens to take the possibility of a win out of my clutches. But I have prepared for just such a scenario, and I reach over to the mini-fridge and grab a can of Gamer Grub. I deftly pop the top with one hand while playing with the other and down it. The pizza flavored gaming designed nutrients satisfy my hunger and I play on, winning the game and setting a new record. Food specifically designed for hard core gamers? That is exactly what Gamer Grub is claiming, and even the container is made for quick one handed grub grabbing. The grub comes in unique and imaginatively satisfying flavors such as Action Pizza, Racing Wasabi, Sports PB&J and Strategy Chocolate. But it is not all one handed grabbing goodness and flavor freak. The grub claims to be scientifically formulated to give your body what it needs to let your mind work, with a perfect balance of vitamins and nutrients to make things like " visual input, cognitive processing, signal transmission and muscle reflexes" work as smooth as possible. Of course, there is always real pizza and tacos to feed the gamer, but I am thinking that if this keeps up that will all be old school. Which is fine with me, I don't like to wait for the pizza. Dumb question. How do I add my older battlefield games to my veteran status? Tried long ago to bc2 but it did not work and I want it to work on bf3 now. Can it be a problem that my bc2 and bf3 are different emails when I'm gonna add bc2 to it?
Also if you suck at this game i ( maybe ) have the solution : PERFORMANCE SNACK
The idea behind it is interesting and it might not be terrible, but the marketing is AWFUL.
The idea behind it is interesting and it might not be terrible, but the marketing is AWFUL.
That's true for everything marketed toward gamers.
Aw sweet, they have merch too!
Aw sweet, they have merch too!
Why is some really old lady wearing a gamer grub shirt :v:
My sides hurt.
BWhahahha, laughing so hard right now. That grandma, what the heck is she doing there? :v:
She's obviously a pro-gamer who needs PIZZA FLAVOURED PERFORMANCE SNACKS!
Just got all Back to karkand guns, fuck yeah :D
Yeah, and that's what I liked about it. To get there you actually had to spend a lot of time playing the game. I think that you level too fast in BF3.
Ranking up in BF2 took foever. Fuck I think it took me like a good week of playtime just to rank up from Gunnery Sgt. They should have made it like BF2 ranking.
Also if you suck at this game i ( maybe ) have the solution : PERFORMANCE SNACK
while this is all kinds of retarded, a non greasy snack sounds pretty cool.
Is ecm jammer any good for helicopters? Or should I just stick with flares.
Is ecm jammer any good for helicopters? Or should I just stick with flares.
ECM it up baby
ECM pilot, flare gunner. Do attack runs with ECM, escape using a flare launch or two, ???, profit.
I love ECM on pilot, it reloads faster than flares. Also anyone else really disappointed with the TV Missiles? What a fucking joke that shit is. It's nothing like BF2
Raidyr why you rate me dumb? You don't think the ranking system should have been more similar to BF2?
Ranking up in BF2 took foever. Fuck I think it took me like a good week of playtime just to rank up from Gunnery Sgt. BF3 did not get the balance right, however I'd rather have that than BF2's horrible slowness. Again, 2142 to the rescue. Fast enough to get somewhere, slow enough to keep you playing.

Anyone who was a higher up Sgt. was relatively new and inexperienced, while generals and Lt.'s were the best who participated in clan matches you only saw on youtube or at the time putfile. In BF3 you're just throwing ranks out the window, they barely mean anything other than a number.
Ranking up in BF2 took foever. Fuck I think it took me like a good week of playtime just to rank up from Gunnery Sgt. The more playtime to get ranks the better. I'd rather get all the weapons etc. fast and have rankings up to colonel but make it tages aaages, compared to colonel 145!

In any case, I personally still prefer 2142/BF3 to BF2.
I thought that in one of the patches that the AS VAL could get extended mags. Got a service star and still dont have it.
