Why does the PC version's colors seem so off? Squad member colors are yellow and the radar seems to have 10% opacity. Unless those are the colorblind colors I'm looking at, haven't bothered to try them yet.
He's using colorblind mode.

yeah, the colorblind ones are easier to read, and it was just nice to freshen them up a bit i might change back later, maybe not
The regular colours annoy me, they stand out too much and make it hard to see what's behind them. Also, they shouldn't cover people, the number of times I've died attacking a point because some guy in a first floor window was covered up by a big blue B is ridiculous.
also i noticed some other guy posted my LAV jumping video i feel famous wooh
What I'm wondering is, where did all the custom servers go? At launch there was tons of custom servers. My favorite servers were always ones that did a combontion of things between normal and hardcore and it was brilliant. I.E. slightly higher bullet damage, not to the point where you die in one hit from everything but starting level guns no longer took half a clip to down people anymore, no 3D spotting, no killcam, but normal everything else, etc. Was fucking great. Now everyone for some reason does either full hardcore or full normal.
Like locked servers have to be unranked? what is that?
so u cant stat pad ofc
so u cant stat pad ofc
I still find it stupid to restrict locked servers because of that, removing a feature to prevent stat padding shouldn't happen.
removing a feature to prevent stat padding shouldn't happen.
That's what the Runescape community said about Run Escape. Sadly, most modern devs, be it Indie or corporate, only hear what they want to hear. And that is nothing but praise.
I still find it stupid to restrict locked servers because of that, removing a feature to prevent stat padding shouldn't happen.
It is a good idea to remove ranked from private games... Since you can put 10 people on one team who conveniently decide they want to die every time and rank up the other team unfairly a.k.a stat padding. Since other people can't join to balance this artificial one sidedness it is an easy way to stat pad. The idea of a private match anyway is to either play with friends and friends only or play against another team. Both cases you don't need to have ranked play nor would it be fair to consider it ranked played. You aren't playing against the general population in a locked game meaning it isn't fair to count that towards your rank which is compared to the general population.
I finally got to playing the story mode, and God damn, that was terrible. Very stop-and-go, very awkward, very badly paced and especially so if you played on Hard mode, despite your skill level, doesn't change that enemies can see you before you can see them, which means due to the way the AI is handled (aim at you after certain amount of time), they will shoot you at the exact same moment as you shoot at them, and often they'll shoot before, even when your reaction time is next to nothing at all. The stages were vague and uninteresting and there were lots of bugs that came with scripted events. There was this part where I had to knife a guy from behind, and I died about five times because you had to do it this one certain way. It wasn't even a quicktime event, it was just, if you don't do it the right way, you fall over dead as if you remembered half of your body weight was in malignant tumors. A lot of the firefights were nothing short of shooting galleries lacking urgency that lasted for a really short amount of time or an overly lengthy amount of time, prolonged only by the fact that I had to shoot a ton of mooks in the face, only to realize that if I did not headshot them, they would not die unless I made a follow-up shot after their second-or-two-long animation of "ow that really hurt" ended. Another horrible bug was at this part where I was in a field with my USMC buddies shooting at Russian paratroopers, a BMP or a BTR or whatever it was would come flying over a hill. One of these times, its turret was pointed as far up as it would go, spinning rapidly, so rapidly indeed that it looked like a flickery image. Just before it impacted the ground, the barrel snapped to me, and I shit myself as a flame spewed from it and I exploded not a millisecond later. Luckily this was a technical error and it would not happen again. But later in the game- and I mean within one hour from the end- the pacing was done well. Unfortunately, however, it was very easy to just sprint through everything. As long as I held down the mouse button, my enemies would be cut down and there was no reason to even take cover, especially when I was a Russian Spec Ops Sunglasses guy, and I had a USAS-12 that could be fired full-auto, and in the primary slot I had a 50 caliber rifle that had no recoil and could be fired very fast. The story was alright. It was a little generic, but I enjoyed it, and a few places actually surprised me. The ending was very poor, I think. Maybe if they didn't use that terrible monologue, maybe if I cared more about Dima, Blackburn, and the other characters, it all would've been more touching. If the game were longer, had less timewaster shooting galleries, and less cameo weapon appearances (BLACKBURN! USE THE SMAW!), scripted sequences, and quicktime events, and instead it left me to my own instinct to fight the battle how I want, it would feel more appropriate, but that singleplayer is one of the worst I've ever experienced in the history of bad singleplayers. At least the MP is kickass. :o
This game needs auto balancing, badly. I'm tired of getting stuck with sucky teams loosing by 100 to 150 tickets.
I agree. I generally find it not very fun to play when I'm winning that well either. It's like, whatever I do doesn't matter. I could suicide tons of times and waste our precious vehicles, but we'll still win.
I also agree about the autobalancing, but there's a serious lack of teamwork in some servers where it just doesn't make sense to me... How often do see sqaud leaders actually give orders?
Dice should have a squad proximity point system. you get given 10 points every now and then when you are near your squad.
Pilot: Guided rockets ECM jammer Heatseekers Gunner: Maintenance Flares Guided Missile Guided rockets are a must for the pilot as it allows you to snipe enemy armor from far away. It's also useful when you get into a "See who can fly higher than the other" Chopper duel because you can easily hit the other chopper with them. I prefer the ECM jammer over the flares for one simple reason, Laser Designation. When there are soflams up or a tank with a CITV station the ECM jammer breaks the designation and allows you to retreat safely without taking a rocket up the ass. Flares are only good against heatseekers. When you have a javelin on your ass and you hit the ECM jammer it breaks the lock and the javelin goes off in a different direction, same for Guided Shells. The Jammer stays active for 4 seconds and recharges in 10, the same time as the flares but four of those seconds you can't be locked onto again. As the gunner I prefer flares because it's a great fault safe for when my pilot doesn't know how to helicopter. I use maintenance because the stealth got nerfed in the most recent patch which makes it useless. I usually pick Guided missiles over the TV missiles because they are fire and forget and that allows you to use the cannon more. Also the TV mssiles suck since they fucked the controls over.
How did they fuck up the TV missile? I loved it in BF2 and was pretty disappointed to see that it's the very last unlock for the chopper.. I haven't used it in BF3 but I was looking very forward to it
What the fuck is this shit. Why do my vehicles just randomly fucking explode for no reason. I was flying a jet in Caspian border and then out of fucking nowhere KABLAMO. My jet exploded, I was greeted with a "bad luck" screen and even my friends and teammates were asking how the fuck I just died. You could hit a tank head on and it would bounce off and fly into the air instead. Reward for completing objectives when close to squad members, or doing actions that influence/affect other squadmembers

Did you fly near the large antenna?
That'd count as a suicide, not a bad luck.
I'm pretty sure it displays the 'bad luck' message when you suicide.
Whenever I play B2K maps, I get a .1 KDR or worse. :suicide:
That'd count as a suicide, not a bad luck.
It's the same thing.
Finally got the game so happy! Who wants to play add me on origin KTIRONKILLER
