Thing that kills me about zoom optics in vehciles is that you a;lrways have to replace something very fucking nessicary in order to use it - i.e flares or IR smoke. Without either of those, your vehicle is useless and you'll last 3x less due to everyone and their mother having AT stuff and AA stuff.

At the moment I wondering if I should buy Battlefield 3. I upgraded my pc this month, and ended up buying MW3 yesterday to play with my friends. What is your opinion about the multiplayer in battlefield 3? the thing i dont like in mw3 is the fact that it is so random, you die every 3 seconds from a predator missile, and overall positioning yourself tactically doesnt really matter, as the winner will be the one who shoots faster or spams more nades. What im looking for is a game where tactics matter, a sniper in the right place could turn the battle, or a well timed bombing. I like it when a game rewards you for making the right choices, working with your team, and of course, being the best shooter. Is battlefield 3 this game? or does it feel gimmicky and boring?

So many cheaters and exploiters... One comes and goes every 20 minutes. Aimbot with 106 kills and 4 deaths in 3 minutes or some guy swapping teams and placing C4 and getting 6 and 7 kills from safety... People getting under the ground with their SAW's and ammo boxes and laying it on the entire game... Fucking hell To the above post though, the 1911 is great In Metro, I just hard charged up some escalator stairs straight into B, as the US, with my knife. They were so worried about Team Killing (Which was amazing) that they didn't bother to light my ass up, so any short bursts missed, and I managed to knife about 15 people, one after the other, on top of causing the enemy to Team Kill a few too. Ended up on top of a respawn beacon and just poked everyone to death. The only thought in my mind was Right. I need 5 knife kills total for the rifle, so maybe I'll get one. I wish I had fucking FRAPS'd it
