I just unlocked the PDW-R and so far it is pretty cool
"So, whatchu thinkin' about?"
"Oh I don't know... flowers and stuff..."
:v:
Seems like forever until I get my damn BF3 copy...
And fuck, now I will notice all that blue and orange aswell... I don't really know if I should get this. I have to play it on 800x600 with medium-high settings and no AA and shit like that.
You should be able to have some AA. The post-AA is a really nice feature in this game, it isn't as nice as MSAA, but it hardly affects performance. And medium/high settings isn't bad at all, considering the game still looks great on the lower settings.
Battlefield 3 most definitely.
BC2 guns were loud as fuck. They were nearly Hollywood style if anything.
I wish the .44 magnum and the m1911 would have a more EQ'ued punchy type of sound, the same one like it is now but fatter and bigger! Same for all sniper rifles.
MP412 REX has a pretty big punch type of sound.
I couldn't make my post any more sarcastic if I tried, but it's the internet so I guess it was lost. Sorry. I thought the fact that the PDW-R can't hit shit from two feet would give it away more than anything. I unlocked the L96, it feels so much better than the SV98 although I no longer have something to aim towards unlocking, sadly.
Oh you were being sarcastic.
My sarcasm detector gets screwy over the internet :v:
I love it when people use SOFLAMS, it makes anti-tank duties so enjoyable.
aw yeah, jet proficiency star
So I bit the bullet and bought the game, and I must say it's worth it. 60 bucks is a bit exorbitant but given its release isn't too long ago, I suppose it's normal.
couple things I noticed:
1. Camo selection doesn't stick, you have to select every round
2. Metro conquest is very unbalanced when there is over 30 players, it's a mess for both teams, specifically the team that doesn't control the ticket area. Lots of reviving and then dying, and then being revived again and then dying shortly after. Good place to level up if you have explosives I suppose.

varies
sometimes it works for me and stays for a while, sometimes it doesn't
AusBF3 - A 64p Organised Australian Tournament
Any of you Australians and Kiwis out there that want to play an organised and structured 64 player EPIC game of battlefield 3?
Organized Team Combat
AusBF3 Campaign Tournament is an Australian organised, team vs. team tournament. Each week our 2 Armies battle it out on Saturday nights in 64-player battles on a different map each week that related to a campaign styled map.
Our armies are organised along military lines, with a High Commanding Officer leading their army supported by other HCOs, Company Commanders, NCOs, all the way down to private. There are always openings for dedicated leaders, and if you put time into you will find yourself working up the ranks quickly.
AusBF3 Campaign has its own private battle server, its own private TeamSpeak server, and each side is provided their own private forums. Each tournament consists of a campaign. When you register to play you will be placed into one of the two sides and you will remain as part of that force for the entire campaign. Campaigns usually last around 11 weeks. You will be given access to your side's private forums, and it is there you will learn all the various schedules, trainings, certifications, strategies, and passwords needed to be a full active member of the AusBF3 community.
Already a member of a clan or community? That's fine! We accept all comers here. Teamwork and Coordination are paramount here at AusBF3. We use TeamSpeak 3 to coordinate everything. It's free to join, free to play!
Battlenights are played on an unranked server so it doesn't matter about your KDR or your unlocks because you will have everything you need. Even weapons and equiptment you havnt unlocked yet. specific details on the weapons used in the Tournament will be coming soon.
We live, breath and fight together soldier. Those who fight together, go home together.

If anyone has heard of the old Australian Allied forces that did the same thing for BF2. we are effectively bringing that back but better.
Very similar to the very well known 21cw in America.

Just a little website\community my brother has been setting up, so anyone that's Australian and interested just hit the forums up
So I went to the 'official' FP BF3 teamspeak.
What the fuck is this GSF bullshit.

Oh man that does sound awesome, if only I were willing to commit 11 Saturday nights to a video game
Oh for the love of...why is it that everytime I join a game, we are losing 1-250. Am I the only one who knows what objective means?
Oh man that does sound awesome, if only I were willing to commit 11 Saturday nights to a video game
Is this sarcasm I'm hearing?
Oh for the love of...why is it that everytime I join a game, we are losing 1-250. Am I the only one who knows what objective means?
When I notice my team isn't doing well, I remind them to capture flags and revive teammates. Suddenly everyone starts spawning on me and my team wins :v:
Is it just me, or is the proning a bit like cheating in this game? I mean people start to blast bullets at me and I just instantly hit prone. Then I turn around and kill the guy. The recoil and other blur effects makes it hard for most people to hit me then it seems :v:
Is this sarcasm I'm hearing?
No, I like the idea of it. It just sounds like you'd need to reliably be online every week to be in a team.
So I'm trying to get the professional russian assignment.
I fucking hate squad deathmatch. I hate it now more than ever.
Tried deathmatch...why on God's green earth would you even want to play deathmatch in this game? It sucks balls.
Anyone else just love having M320 buckshot for when people bunch up?

Oh yea, I can have 8x AA (I think it was AA) with just a tiny bit of lag, but I can work it out perfectly fine with a bit less. Its just the resolution that has to be at minimum.
Looks a bit blurry but not that bad. Its playable.

If you could actually spawn on your squad it might be half decent.
No, I like the idea of it. It just sounds like you'd need to reliably be online every week to be in a team.
You don't have to play every week as their are always other players keen to play, your level of commitment is up to you really.
lemme guess, you got 10000 points and the pilot got 1000
Pretty much.. they should definitely give more assist/allowance score for more higher kill-streaks etc by the gunner, at least in the attack Helicopter.
I mean 20 assist points per kill right now.. lol. And that's inside a squad too. Why not give some greater bonus for keeping it airborne for longer and/or every 10th or so kill by the Gunner grants the Pilot a bonus. But you can rack up some score at least with the Guided Rockets, disabling/destroying vehicles which also grants kills.
They should add assist ribbons. 200 points every 5 assists or something like that.
So when do you guys think are DICE releasing the next expansion pack? February? March?
I can't wait for new maps and new guns, I am crazy for them! Especially the hope for an M3 shotgun (I kinda hate the 870) or an .50 cal big gunny gunny.
I do not predict them releasing a character holdable .50 caliber gun. The one mounted to the jeeps are insaneley powerful, at the cost of being mounted to a vehicle (harder to maneuver, jeeps are pretty weak, very exposed, but if you can land the shots its insane).
How is the full auto shotgun you unlock after the pp-19?
having a destroying machine that fires at high rate seems too good to be true...

The jackhammers origins (first view holding) kind of sucks, the gun shoots full auto less faster than the usas and with 9 instead of 12 bullets but I feel like it's stronger in range and somehow cooler as the usas, hard to tell both kill like a chainsaw to the nuts.

They work in 100 kill shifts.
