Do you have to use an internet browser to join servers, or is that if you want to?
I'm building my new PC Tuesday (Can't wait to play BF3 :D) so I'm just wondering

It is required for online play.
Someone made a program built for steam so it opens up a dedicated browser for BF3, opens up origin, and when you are done, you just close the program and it closes origin automatically.

They used Russian nukes and by the time the USA and Russians could clear things out, war had already started. Blackburn can probably tell the truth and the fighting will stop in a few months, but hey, there's still combat. That's how I see it.

I really wish there was a more clear reason why the Russians are invading in mutliplayer. At least at the end of Bad Company 2 General Braidwood explained to the squad that the Russians are invading through Alaska. In BF3 it's just "oh look russians are invading for some reason that isn't explained at all so we need to find a reason ourselves."
Love the M98.. Made about 14 headshots last game, all 750m and beyond and racked up 11k points
Got my furthest headshot the other day, near 1300 meters.
So where's the killstreaks? If this game had killstreaks it would have won the best shooter of 2011.

does it matter? this is multiplayer not a campaign. You don't need a storyline for multiplayer
Why the fuck do my rockets keep disappearing?
Game crashes occasionally, screen goes black and I hear an error message pop up. I have to force a shutdown on my computer, not liking this very much.

Just beat my record today, got a 988 meter headshot while sniping with my buddy Futurebro. Sadly, I didn't have fraps on at the time, but I promptly turned it on and got this one. Almost 1 kilometer. Feels so good.

It seems like the community has gotten really bad for this game lately. Every game I join always has at least a few assholes in it.

Theres always been assholes, but most of the assholes I have ran into bitch about team performance and they dont even make a fucking attempt to get off their asses and attack or defend objectives.
I think it's 50/50 between assholes and friendly players.

Its even funnier when the ones fussing about team preformance have a really low score.
My friend can get like 3 kills 10 deaths in a round yet he still gets quite a bit of points because he goes for objectives.
