I used to win games with negative K/D a fair bit.
I used to win games with negative K/D a fair bit.
If it weren't for capturing points and resupplying/first aid, I would have a terrible score at this game :v: I never have a positive K/D except for when I'm recon, and I know the same is true for a lot of others. Like my score in this round. The guy below me (I'm on RU) absolutely annihilated me K/D wise.
SonofBrim;34005030']I've got to say, there is little in this game more satisfying than a ridiculously long headshot as recon. Just beat my record today, got a 988 meter headshot while sniping with my buddy Futurebro. Sadly, I didn't have fraps on at the time, but I promptly turned it on and got this one. Almost 1 kilometer. Feels so good.
Let me tell you, sniping in this game is always satisfying.
why is there only like 7 servers with players on them in all of australia? did the australian bf3 community die out or something
Let me tell you, sniping in this game is always satisfying.
It bores me, I struggle to unlock any recon weapons.
Well, killing someone with a sniper that is.
Played US on Strike at Karkand and took the drivers seat in the LAV and as soon as timer ran out I gunned it down the left hand side off the road plowing through the trees, fences and cars and headed straight to do the D suburb checkpoint. I had friends chatting to me in the passengers seats laughing their heads off at the amount of rockets flying by us accompanied by the several AT guys chasing us The enemy soldiers on the hill were caught off guard and became confused as fucked as we ploughed right through them. My friends hop out to cap the point and at the moment we capped an enemy tank rolled in. they hop back in and I floor it through the concrete barrier and fly off the road and head towards the rail yard. Where we encounter a BMP. They all pussy out and proceed to hop out, where they end up getting caught in the shells fired at us. I keep driving through hoping to avoid it and circle round but end up rounding a corner near F with a C4 buggy waiting for me. All of this in the first two minutes of the game. Best start to a game I've had on this game so far... It's just a damn shame I didn't have fraps running at the time. I really wish battlerecorder was in this game for moments like that
Let me tell you, sniping in this game is always satisfying.
And a fun little fact: at that distance, that one kill got me over 1,000 points. I got 3 shots in 900 meter area, I only had 4 kills over-all, hadn't moved from that spot, and still came in 5th place out of the 64 people online (I'd gotten some SOFLAM assists).
Anyone else get a odd bug where if you have a certain weapon with a scope then when you strafe you almost take another step when you release the key. It happens on the scoped 44 and I think some shotguns. I think it mostly happens mostly with the 3.4x scope.

How the fuck do I voice-chat in this game? It's screaming out for it.
The very tiny amount of time I have spent with a scope on a gun, I never noticed it.
I think it's just a select few that have this bug where you feel like you take an extra step after you let go of the strafe key. If you're a high enough level, give the scoped 44 a try and aim down the sights then strafe.
How the fuck do I voice-chat in this game? It's screaming out for it.
DICE said they would implement it but it's been so long I'm starting to have my doubts.
How the fuck do I voice-chat in this game? It's screaming out for it.
You don't. The only way you can voice chat is either... 1. Use their GODAWFUL party voice chat system (and the quality of voice is just downright terrible) 2. Use steam. Both methods require you to know the person before voicing them. There is no open/team voice chat in this game sadly...
There's a lot of servers with their own teamspeak channels though.
Yeah was doing fine and dandy running it at ultra at a smooth FPS when suddenly firefox creates a blank tab, forces my game to alt-tab, and BF3.exe stops working. I don't even
I just got called a hacker for doing Split-S's in Dogfighting... Oh and I found the beautiful little handgun known as the G18.
Anyone who does well = hacker

I tested it with the M16A3 equipped with the same 3.4x RU scope as the .44 Scoped and it didn't have that movement jerk when I released my strafe key(s). The clip with the M16A3 made me laugh pretty hard, once I finished showing the bug, I ran towards the transport helicopter vaulting over the boxes then got thrown into the side of the helicopter killing me in the process. Goddamn it DICE, when I show one bug another comes up to slap me in the face.

So how many would play on the FP Eu server and if you do, where would you like it located? I was thinking about 48-players.
I play on 200 ping servers most the time so anywhere is fine for me, besides i don't think there are that many AU players on FP.

Does anyone use the FXAA or SMAA injector to increase performance? Or are they used for better visuals and less performance?
No idea if it's late, just found it hilarious.
Not a headshot come back when it's a headshot
Oh man, playing with people not from facepunch really makes a difference, i thought i was mediocre but on random TDM & conquest servers i usually do really well, My only conclusion is that FP has a nice "skill level" that provides challenge but not to the extent of neigh impossible.
Great... I uninstall my nvidia drivers to install newer ones and now BF3 thinks I don't have a card that supports dx10. So I reinstall the olds ones and same thing. I can't play it period now, what the fuck. I have a 560ti too.
Was the ENB/FXAA thing proven to be completely safe?
